Watch all 3 parts people. Pretty easy to tell it wasn't actually going to be John Stewart because the impostor actually made imaginative constucts (fly swatter, broom, crowbar). In the JL cartoon, and even here John only creates bubbles, basic shields, and gripping devices. It's drives me nuts. Stewart is an architect, he should be creating things that involve building design. Not simplistic objects.

Hal Jordan's pretty horrible, to be honest. Ion (I assume you mean Kyle), however, is indeed awesome. As for "racially mixed up", John Stewart (the black guy here) has been a Green Lantern for decades. As for the whole yellow thing, that hasn't been an issue for years. Read more comics.

The reason the Green Lanterns (until Hal Jordan came along) could not use their rings on yellow objects/people was that Parallax was imprisoned inside the Battery on OA. Once Hal and later Kyle were able to conquer their fear, and Parallax infections, Parallax was re-imprisoned. After that, they just dropped the "can't affect yellow stuff" from the G.L. stories in the comics. See Wikipedia if you want more info.

Back in the 70s the character wasnt bald but sported an afro wig. And their powers are basically the same: electricity manipulation, they only made Static´s flashier and more kid friendly for the tv show( BL only fries people with them).

I said bad copy? Well, maybe that was too much...Static is way a more succesful character than what BL ever was... they should have aknowledged the inspiration in BL though....
