Evac is a HH-65 Dolphin (SA 366 Dauphin). It is used by the US Coast Guard as a rescue helicopter but with more red.

I was a bit annoyed that when splitting the rotors the left is unable to remain upwards as in the instructions and pictures on the package. The right can but falls off when you touch it.

I prefer to keep then combined on his left arm as a rotor weapon.

I think he should have been named Blades as he is clearly a homage to him.

this mold looks great as Evac. Cybertron Evac was the same kind of helicopter as the rotf version.

I think they should have called it Blades.

This Evac is more realistic because the Dauphin (Dolphin) helicopter is actually used by the US Coast Guard. Athough with more orange. Just search for HH-65 Dolphin (or SA 365/AS365 Dauphin 2).

A orange rescue version of the HH-53 does not exist.

I liked this mold when I first saw Blaze Master, but when I saw pictures of the Evac repaint I decided to wait for that version.

BTW Airwolf was a diffirent type of helicopter.

actually i would do it bc they have an air wolf model at hobby lobby in the town near me i could use those peices to add on to it thair the same scale size so it could work........i just dont have any money tho......tear :(....i would seriously give it to you for free bc i know you dig that show.....and just bc im a rad dude that does nice things for people in a non prideful way of corse

dude i know what air wolf is......someone should totally do a custom air wolf transformer using that evac mold i think its the best one for it.......im only 21....i say it on the retro tv channel we get its a pertty rad show i like the way the chopper on it looks i get ecited when he does the tubro boost its kinda corney bc its an old show but its still awsome

Nice and detailed review. I'm also really liking the look of Evac. I always kind of liked Blazemaster's mold, but the colours really didn't do it for me. I much prefer the colours on Evac. Thanks for reviewing this figure.

i think the movie one evac is far better than this deluxe version because the alt mode is still more convincing as a rescue chopper. both are good figures, i'd keep em
