  • The Whole Fucking Show and the Greatest Fucking Lariato on the same side? Damn.

  • rvd looks green

  • Kawada the most son of a bitch

  • IN CANADA WE GOT THE HARTS

  • @ALEXSTORM97 and the Rougeaus and the Vachons......

  • Van Dam & hansen, quite a unique combination.

  • Very much so. Nice combination of head rocking lariats and educated feet.....I'd have loved to have been there, knowing the future legend RVD was gonna be and the legend that Hansen already was.

  • american wrestling is not as good as japanese , the american wrestling is too much acting and less wrestling

  • amen brother

  • FINALLY someone agrees

american wrestling is cool when you watch hogans challenge wrestling becaue you see the techniques and what htey learn.

but what you see on tv is so SLOW AND COMBERSOME how can that even be called wreslting?

if its wrestling you should do grapling if its called mma then you should fight... is wwe come down to some strange kind of opera jfor some kind of people? its almost as if its turned into a fetish isntead of a sport. entertainment.

  • I agree, great post.

  • @hayabusafmw

You are a stupid fucking Japanophile. You do realize Japanese has a bunch of "acting" in their wrestling, even if it isn't the above series?

I'm guessing you saw an excuse to insult America and praise Japan as an excuse for your double standard garbage.

Those Japanese wrestling series and payperviews with a 9 year old girl beating down 300 pound heavyweights mean nothing to you, you ignore that.

Standard USA wrestling payperviews (no acting) is ignored by you?

  • Japanese wrestlers have the same mentality of the old skoll British wrestlers, what people forget today is that it's not all about the 'entertainment' aspect of it.

  • @AlexDCl

In America, we also have "full wrestling" without the entertainment aspect. WWE isn't 100% of all wrestling in America.

However, WWE with it's "acting" just happens to be more "popular" than regular wrestling in America, so that is why it shows more often.

There's always advertisements for that kind of thing, but it just isn't as "popular" as wrestling with acting. Popular things sometimes overshadow less popular things, but we do have full-blast wrestling in America

  • No kidding, all you have to do now is be willing to jump off stuff. What they do now is more stunt work and porn level acting than anything else.

  • @Aur0rah

You are wrong. In America, we have wrestling without "acting" but it does not show often on television, because it is not very popular.

Wrestling with "acting" shows on American television more often than wrestling "without" acting.

  • @itsokayright But American independent wrestling isn't as good as Japanese Wrestling or Mexican wrestling, it's not bad, actually i love CZW, PWG, Chikara and All Pro, but it's just not as good.

  • @ElChanateRifa lucha's great. I get my lucha DVDs from RudoReels.

  • @Aur0rah

I'm thinking of sending you videos of the Japanese wrestling with the 9 year old girl beating up hundreds of heavyweight wrestlers.

Then I'm going to ask you if that "Japanese" wrestling is no acting and all serious wrestling. Infact, quite a bit of those Japanese wrestling videos are all over youtube.

Half of them have like a 5 year old girl tossing around 200 pound heavyweights.

Are you going to sprout out your "japanese has no acting in wrestling" garbage now?

  • @itsokayright 'Half of them?' that's like saying 50% of WWE segments involve the birth of a hand.

  • @Aur0rah

I Agree, but let's not forget that ECW and most indie Wrestling orgs are inspired by Puro and Lucha Libre and very innovative like ROH. Also, the old school NWA and AWA style wrestling was pretty top notch.

  • It was Robbie V at the time.

Was it just me or was Toshiaki Kawada really stiffing the hell out of Rob Van Dam? Kawada was always stiff but he seemed stiffer than normal with the kid. Great footage.

  • there's stiff, "testing you stiff", then there's this . Kawada was just being evil with the feet.

  • Only in wcw was he called Robbie V.

  • Wow, EARLY RVD. Or was it Robbie V back then?

  • Well in 1993 he had left WCW, right? If so, then it was back to just Rob Van Dam, the only reason he was Robbie V was that WCW didn't like the name Rob Van Dam.

  • I want to say around '93

  • de ke año es este video?
