Haha This movie wasn't that serious but very funny and entertaining. The idea that one voter can change American fate wasn't smart but still very original. I love Kevin Costner but Madeline Carroll made this film. Her acting was phenomenal - she surpassed all Dakota Fanning's roles. Oh and wonderful Dennis Hopper was great as always. The ending was disappointing a little bit cause I wanted to know who he voted for

Swing vote in a nutshell. Republicans are very bad. Democats very good. Later in the movie, Republicans are still very bad, Democrats are very good, but Hopper's character is turning bad. Close to the end of the movie Republicans still very bad, Democrats very good. Kelsey Grammer's character starting to act good, but Republicans are still very very bad. Typical Hollywood movie and it is no wonder if flopped.

I have to agree with GOBLUE. If I had half a chance to be like Kevin I would be. But as it stands I'm not a completely worthless human being. One day I plan on doing everything in my power to be like Kevin. I'm going to fail at every possible aspect of my life and in one area I'm even gonna one up Kev. I'm gonna cut my own hair instead of paying 10 dollars for a haircut like he does.

This was quite possibly the BEST movie ever made. It has all the right elements. Kevin did a masterful job. He deserved an Oscar for his role. After I watched that movie, I knew I wanted to be an actor just like Kevin. I immediately went out and got myself a 10 dollar haircut just like his. I tried auditioning for movies that no one could ever want to be in, or movies that no one could ever want to watch. Ive also started a band that no one could ever want to listen to.

I actually was one of "many" extras in the movie. It was fun, but wow, was it cold and rainy when they were filming in Santa Fe, NM last year (9/07). I'll ALWAYS be greatful of actors/actresses. They go over the lines. And when I say over, I mean over and over and over! Hopefully I'll see myself in the stands. But there were quite a few people there!!! Everybody has got to go see Swing Vote! :)
