Years ago we had 2 types of illegal aliens. 1. "economic refugees" with no status. Then there was no discussion, they were sent directly home. Being a compassionate country we accepted "political refugees", and still do. As in Cuba, China etc. Obviosuly, not a race issue. The illegal aliens also bring a pervasive attitude of a socialism with them. It is clear accepting a new American identity is not the objective. Just greed, selfishness, and irrational demands.

I agree. Immigrants need to learn to speak english, and obey the law, and to assimillate to our culture. Just like white people assimilated when they immigrated to this country.
