this is awesome, I just saw one of these cloud rings outside with the moon directlye in the center, I only saw the circle when i looked directly at the moon. this was in saskatchewan

Woww... I have been to Norway during the last Winter and I saw some spots of lights in the sky in late January... but I didn't know that was a sun phenomena depending on the weather... and even less its name. But why sun-dog?

Friend of Macpduff here. WOW!!!. I have never seen anything like this before. What State do you live in? and was there any chem spraying going on before this showed up?

Northern Utah in a place called Cache Valley. Utah State is the local university. No chemical spraying. There was a snow storm the previous night, and you can see ice crystals in the video when pointed at the rainbow.

@ayeates1 Nice video. How long did you think this lasted? I captured a similar one today (10-9-11) I just looked up to check out some chemtrails and noticed that there was a rainbow around the sun (not my first time observing a rainbow around the sun) but i watched the entire thing formed. Today is my first time observing the formation a "sundog" it was amazing as I've never seen anything like this in my life. Kinna wired @ the same time. 76 & sunny @ the time 2:00pm est an its still around @5pm
