The IAFF signed a resolution to "Care Enough to Wear PINK" in support of ALL women that are fighting cancer, regardless of type. Why are they now joining Komen and supporting only women with breast cancer?? Do these other women not matter to the IAFF? Before there was such a large breast cancer movement the color PINK represented our women, starting at infancy. People we need to support ALL women that are facing cancer, by wearing her color: PINK, and quit supporting just one women's disease!!
Y'all signed a resolution last year supporting Cares Enough to Wear Pink! That resolution supports ALL cancers!! Have you lost your copy? I am sure Dave can send you another one!
This saddens me to see the IAFF and Mr. Schaitberger limit their support to just one type of cancer. Your own men and women are dying from so many other cancers and you want them to align with Komen for just one cancer. I just read a newsletter from the IAFF and Mr. Schaitberger saying affiliates were support all cancers. Did you think how your own members might feel about this when their own wife might be fighting colon. I thought you signed a resolution last year supporting all cancers?
