These same kind of falls can happen in Dressage though. Or any kind of discipline, not just jumping. Just cause you choose not to jump doesn't mean that you're safe.

@GoodGodGuyXXX i feel so bad for her but that's actually very true, that's what happened @ the express eventing and it through her horse off balance, but the reins slipped out of her hands so it was just an accident.

she came to my yard to give us a talk once and showed us a few of her falls, we were like OOUUCH and she just sat there smiling it was funny hehe. and then she talked about that lovely horse that got put down only a few weeks after she talked to us :(

she could have easily gone into the lead & won it if she hadnt had fallen :(

you can see her horse is tiring & everything, but you dont expect her to fall at that fence! xx

Well when your falling its actualy an instant reacation to grab hatever you can...

example when you fall off a chair you sling your arms around to try and grab somthing.

Also, if she held on there might be the slightest chance the horse would have stoped for her and she could get back on...

She wasnt hurt at all anyway so it dosnt matter lol..
