these things sound nice, works well with the 360 and works great as regular headphones, but doesnt work as a headset for PC/Mac which is dumb of them because they give it usb but not the ability to pass audio through the usb, just mic turning the headset itself into one giant mic stand

@banana0eater I think you need a 3.5 mm male to 3.5mm male to use the mic for pc, i think you just connect it to the chat port on the puck thing where you control the volume and stuff

amazing headset and i love using it for modern warfare especially, but it seems that for everyone the mic goes out after a few weeks. The same thing has happened to me so i had to get a new one. If your going to buy this headset, i STRONGLY recommend getting a warranty for it.

DO not buy these headphones!!!! I had it for 8 days and the mic broke. i got it for christmas,I read reviews now that they broke and mutiple people said the same thing. The sound quality is great but the mic broke and im pissed now.

@FriqFeedz I agree that the wire is annoying thats the one I was having problems with. I called customer support and they had me order that same wire from a different model and now it works great. Its a lot more expensive for a headset thats wireless. Btw the wire they sent me was free.

@RaidonXBLGaming okay i would recommend getting one of the following tritton detonators make sure they are not the triggers because those are smaller and uncomfortable tritton ax pros or astro a30. those are all really good for xbox 360 and if you want to save your money but still get good but not GREAT quality in a headset get a turtle beach headset. but dont get the wireless ones when ever someone passes between the headset and the box it can cut out(chat) i would recommend the px21s for

@wondermonkey98 nvr mind the devestators they come out jan. 29th but its completely wireless you dont even have to connect it to your controller and xbox 360 helped design the headset so it will be great for you but youll have to wait. but you will be able to hear where they are coming from its got HD quality so ya. if astros go down at all by the 29th then reconsider but get the TRITTON detenators

@RaidonXBLGaming i hope i narrowed it down for you and dont get logitech those break and if you arent careful with turtle beaches they will too. but the pricier brands like steel and astro will last longer and have better mixamps and the astros are wireless but wont cut out the chat like turtle beach px5s do. tritton is a little cheaper but there main company is Mad Catz and they can make some really crappy products so i dont trust them as much as i do with the others.

Got these for xmas hoping they would be good for the price. They're fairly comfortable, the sound isn't the best, but the swivel on the earcups is a nice feature. They arent worth buying though, first thing that was noticed is my friends could barely hear me as the microphone is very insensitive. Also it isn't compatible with being used as a PC headset which is a big downside, in my opinion.

u can use these on ipods and on almost any comp/lap that has the jack for it like im using them right now on my pc but they only have a 2ft cord then the rest is for gamming so u probally can get a 10ft exstender so that dosent matter if ur willing to spend 10 more bucks.

If i move any of the wires while playing i would have to reset my console to get them working. Secondly the mic itself you hve to have it in your mouth for people to hear you and plus you sound like you have a cold when you talk to other people. I think if you use a male to male 3.5mm cable in place of the xbox headset plugin, and hook that into the mic input of your pc, then get rca to 3.5mm for your sound it should work. I don't have either right now, but, I'll get them and test. If not I'll be trying some turtle beach X12's

@hap1974 Xbox have specifically designed headsets because they require that little connector thing to the controller, ps3 however, doesnt, it just uses usb, meaning its compatible with almost every headset with a usb connection (tritton ax720/pro) so companies dont make only ps3 headsets because it is easy to expand their market, whereas to make an xbox headset compatible with a ps3 a whole load of shit is needed because microsoft are money hungry pigs.
