After receiving Engerix B vaccine for Hepatitis B in 2002, I have developed symptoms similar to Multiple Sclerosis. The vaccine contained Thimersol/Mercury. 3 years before this 20-20 news program exposed these risks and France banned this vaccine for children in schools. Yet, I was still vaccinated and became ill. Looking back, every year that I received a vaccine, I became more ill. There is no doubt in my mind that vaccines are dangerous for some people. To deny this is plain ignorant.

I'm a medical student (no ties to any corporation) and this season there have been 6 children come through our hospital whose parents decided not to have them vaccinated against pertussis. One of them has died, 2 have improved 2 are on ventilators. It's extremely sad to watch these children suffer with such a preventable disease.

did you know that measles scars individuals and is chronic? there is no cure for measles, only prevention via vaccination. mumps and rubella do not have specific treatments, only alleviation of symptoms. and, of course, worse case scenarios of polio result in paralysis or death. and if your child comes into contact with these diseases, the risk of passing these diseases on to a child too young to receive vaccinations is extremely high and that unvaccinated young child will probably die.
I have done my research and listened to both sides of the argument and the vaccination side mostly consists of expert, credible, independent scientists who have uniformly reached the consensus that there is no link between vaccination and autism. @odinmp5 Over the past 30 years, all polio cases in developed countries have been caused by the polio vaccine! The best way to prevent polio is therefore to avoid the vaccine! In any case, the chances of a child getting polio are probably about the same as getting struck by lightning or satellite debris.

You see, it takes a generally healthy child to accept a vaccine, because vaccines are meant to increase a healthy immune system's response. If you're already sick, you can't take a vaccine, because your immune system is already working overtime. So children (and adults) struck with certain diseases can't accept a vaccine. After receiving Engerix B vaccine for Hepatitis B in 2002, I have developed symptoms similar to Multiple Sclerosis. The vaccine contained Thimersol/Mercury. 3 years before this 20-20 news program exposed these risks and France banned this vaccine for children in schools. Yet, I was still vaccinated and became ill. Looking back, every year that I received a vaccine, I became more ill. There is no doubt in my mind that vaccines are dangerous for some people. To deny this is plain ignorant.

When people are presented with new evidence and they persist in their maleducated ways...then you are unreasonable. Autism is being redefined and better diagnosed, contributing to a perceived higher incidence. Aurtism in some studies is higher in areas with the least vaccination rates. We have a huge generation of disabled people in general because medicine saves their lives.

Fact: FDA deems upper safety level of aluminum 10mcg. In a baby's FIRST vaccine, they are injected with 250 mcg on DAY ONE. By age 18 months, they are exposed to 4'925 mcg's. It is NOT all about mercury. The day they do a first massive study with absolutely NO TIES to the drug industry, I may pay attention. In the meantime, I happily do not vaccinate my child, and advise my patients not to, either.

I'm a medical student (no ties to any corporation) and this season there have been 6 children come through our hospital whose parents decided not to have them vaccinated against pertussis. One of them has died, 2 have improved 2 are on ventilators. It's extremely sad to watch these children suffer with such a preventable disease.

I had a bad reaction to my one and ONLY flu shot and to zoloft medication in '95 ( either one or combination of both caused me to have my first MS ATTACK).
I got a tetanus shot in '99. It disabled me. I lost EVERYTHING. Mainstream medicine NEVER took responsibility. They claim It was a coicidence and impossible. The pro vaccine crowd attack me, calling me a liar. There is never any consideration that I MIGHT actually be telling the truth.
Not everyone's body reacts THE SAME to drugs.

@sludgedozer Funny, hygiene as a common practice can be traced to discoveries in medical science. Wherever this knowledge is unknown, disease related to unhygienic habit is common. However, even sanitation and hygiene, can only account for the illnesses transmitted by sewage and direct contact with pathogens (virii, bactreia and protozoan parasites). disease transmitted through vectors and airborne, generally, suffers no impact from personal hygiene or sanitation. We're back to basic science.

Jenny McCarthy is an actress, not a scientist and she attributed her son's recovery purely to a new diet. She took no other factors into account. She did not keep a running, routine examination of her son, only standout signs that he was "improving". I am suspicious of anyone who brings up a conspiracy against those who work in the field of medicine, and I therefore consider Jenny ignorant and eager for publicity.

Amanda Peet is uneducated . Doctors are 3 times as likely to not vaccinate their children .Why is that ? Scientists and doctors who work in devolopment of vaccines almost never vaccinate their children . Chances of dying from Measles 1 in 300 million ! Chances of having some damage from a vaccine , much , much greater .

did you know that measles scars individuals and is chronic? there is no cure for measles, only prevention via vaccination. mumps and rubella do not have specific treatments, only alleviation of symptoms. and, of course, worse case scenarios of polio result in paralysis or death. and if your child comes into contact with these diseases, the risk of passing these diseases on to a child too young to receive vaccinations is extremely high and that unvaccinated young child will probably die.

I have done my research and listened to both sides of the argument and the vaccination side mostly consists of expert, credible, independent scientists who have uniformly reached the consensus that there is no link between vaccination and autism. If you think I have it wrong, present your side of the argument for all to see and scrutinize and not just comment to me on my own channel. By the way, most pharmaceuticals lose money over vaccines. They'd be happy to stop vaccination.

To all anti-vaccination individuals, if your movement gains traction, you will regret it ever did and the deaths and permanent injury of countless children due to measles, mumps, rubella, pertussis, smallpox, etc. will be on your injury. You are removing the herd immunity that keeps diseases like polio and smallpox "extinct." When we return to a health situation where so many people die or are injured by preventable diseases, you will all have to answer for your ignorance.

You took this claim from a documentary that has a clear bias against vaccines. That sounds like supporting your flimsy argument with even more flimsy arguments. In addition, your argument below is flimsy because vaccines are produced in a variety of ways but most vaccines expose developing immune systems to disabled or inactivated toxic compounds. NOTE: INACTIVATED - i.e., the toxic compounds (ex., toxins present in tetanus) cannot harm the individual

Vaccinations don't save lives because they don't actually cure anything. Immune systems prevent deaths. Vaccines are dangerous. You don't really need billions of dollars to figure out what is causing autism. It's quite clear to hundreds of thousands of mothers allover America that the rise in vaccinations = rise in autism.

Actually, yes, vaccinations do save lives. Vaccines actually save lives by training the developing immune system to recognize and combat pathogens such as measles, mumps, rubella, and pertussis. Vaccines work on two levels. Level 1: develop the immune system of the individual, enabling that individual to be better able to combat disease. level 2: herd immunity - strong theory in which if a large enough part of the population is immune to a disease, unvaccinated members will not contact a disease

Whatever, I'm growing tired of this debate. I will chose not to vaccinate myself or my children and you can chose to vaccinate yourself and your children. We also won't eat the genetically modified foods that are being created in laboratories and pushed into our food supply. Did you know they are planning on merging food with vaccines? Do you honestly think that's good? Considering the history of the vaccine makers and the eugenics movement, I would argue no.

1. That is a flawed argument commonly made by whackos like yourself. You have failed to address the strengths or weaknesses of the science supporting vaccination. Instead, you attempt to portray scientists in a negative light to bias any unwary reader. Why don't you comment on a popular case of the couple in Britain who treated their child's eczema with homeopathy only to have her die in about two months?

3. Thimerosal/mercury is no longer included in a majority of vaccines. In addition, do you eat wild caught fish? Do you eat wild caught tuna? There's more mercury in that one serving of tuna/fish than in 100 doses of vaccines w/

4. Formaldehyde is naturally made in the body by the liver. Are you going to cut out your liver too?
