To mamman93: Based on my own experience of uploading widescreen movies, the black bars is due to the incompatibility of aspect ratios. The black bars keeps the original video's aspect ratio right, or it'll come up s t r e t c h e d/squashed, which won't look good. Your original vid you uploaded must have the same aspect ration as what you're uploading to youtube.

first of all instead it has two black covering lines at the top. and its not a auto set for videos the have the two lines on side. lastly its wider picture then normal videos...

Yeah, and the video screen is actually smaller because of the two useless black lines. If i wanted to watch a movie, I would like to see it with no unnecessary black lines covering it. It's not like the resolution is any better. This ain't no theater.

The youtube player is already widescreen. The actual video footage is usually in a 4:3 aspect ratio. That's why on most videos, you see the black bars on the side of the video. On this wide-screen test, notice how there were no black bars on the sides? That's because this video is in a 16:9 aspect ratio.

You got to pay attention to these things ^_^
