  • false advertiserment scroll down and get the right answer NEWEGG

  • ebuyer's pretty good, good prices and good reliable delivery. They operate in the UK not too sure about the US, but google them and have a look :)

  • dudes i live in Australia anyone know any good places there to buy parts?

  • come to the university of main

  • Go to your address bar, after the word YOU and before the word TUBE, type in "win" then press enter

  • the thing is newegg.com does not ship to canada which really sucks and i really need memory for my old computer

  • @Sahota018 eeh ever heard off ncix

  • @bambinosto yeh found out from a buddy a few days ago

  • @Sahota018 they do but your looking at the wrong place its newegg.ca

  • @naruto2ken it doesnt matter anymore because we have NCIX up here and they have stores in British Columbia, and they have all the high end parts i need, but thanks anyways.

  • @Sahota018 there to expensive

  • @naruto2ken but the thing is with ncix i got local experts near where i live so i dont mind paying more

  • @Sahota018 It's just that I saw a graphic card I wanted to buy and they had it for like 186.99$ while newegg had it for like 134.99$ =\

  • @naruto2ken yeah there is a difference in price but for the taxes and shipping your going to pay it adds up to be almost the same.

  • @Sahota018 nope neweggg dont do taxes and the shipping for stuff i get of there is no more than like 8$ +you can use 30 days free shipping with shoprunners

  • @naruto2ken nice probably will buy from newegg canada then

  • Newegg.com youtube.com/user/newegg

  • Scan, OcUK, Novatech, Aria, Ebuyer.

  • It really annoys me how he never answers these types of questions, but rather simply tells us things that we already know. Sure, your opinion may be biased, but you should still tell us your personal favorite after you point out the fact that research is important. He obviously wanted an opinion, not guidance.

  • newegg for us and ebuyer for uk.

  • NCIX.com IMO is one of the best places to shop. But then again I'd just as well go to one of the actual NCIX stores here in Canada.

  • tiger direct is legit, check them monthly, there prices change like a wave, sometimes high and sometimes low.

  • Newegg all the way.

  • Generally Newegg.

But buy HDDs & LCDs locally.

  • Tiger Direct or Newegg

  • In México, La Plaza de le tecnología en la calle Uruguay

  • overclockers FTW#

  • Anyone know a U.K Newegg equivalent?

  • @HowToDs eBuyer.com

  • @HowToDs ebuyer

  • Tigerdirect And Newegg

    #FTW

  • Frys or Newegg

  • Respond to this video... omfg, i just found out about newegg...i really...theres no way to express my feelings for this site, i mean...it has everything. i'v fallen in love with this site. it even has feed back of actual ppl on the products page, and ratings. wow...just wow

  • Newegg for about 90% of my tech needs. I often order in the morning and get delivery the next day. Customer service is great too.

  • newegg

  • New Egg is by far the best site to buy computer parts. Their site is second to none as far as ease of use, their prices are usually as low as any other site you would go to and their customer service for online sales is second to none. Disclaimer: I am not financially attached to New Egg at all, I am just a very satisfied customer!

  • For Canadians, it's NCIX. It's the very best. They PRICE MATCH other vendors, such as Newegg Canada, Direct Canada, Amazon etc.

  • Newegg FTW

  • @kam1su2 Did you ever stop to think that the way he is answering, is the "place" he buys stuff from himself?

I don't think anyone really buys EVERYTHING from one place, I certainly don't, especially ever since I started custom building.

However, there are a couple of places that I would buy most of my parts, but they may not be good for other people.

Its like, Walmart vs.. Costco? (I don't know, I live in the UK) they might both have the same stuff, but one might have it cheaper, out of the two

  • @Evadex87 Because people who custom build go to soooo many zillions of places to do their computer hardware shopping shopping, especially that Walmart and Costco.

  • @kam1su2 I was actually using both those stores as an example to back up the point I was making, I'm not familiar with US hardware sites, so I used them.

An yes actually, I have used many, many different sites to buy parts.

I've been building PC's for about 11 years roughly, so yes I have.

It all depents on what sites have what I want, an how much they're selling it for.

An.. you sound like an idiot -_-' I don't know why I'm responding.

  • @Evadex87 I think your responding because while you have 11 years of computer building experience I have about 23 years of computer building, programing, and networking. Yes.. I've doing this since I was 6 replacing ram boards in my crappy Adam computer and programing in basic on my brown commodore64. BTW, I'm not a idiot, just not a fan-boy or care-bear, someone who doesn't mind stating his opinion, which everyone has.

  • newegg.com

  • Tigerdirect and Newegg are the best places. Micro center as well.

  • I always check NewEgg, TigerDirect, and Microcenter. I read the reviews on NewEgg for the products I need, and then if I can get it at Microcenter I go with them because I can pick it up 20 miles away instead of waiting for shipping. I have never bought through TigerDirect, but several friends have and recommend them. I have never had a bad experience with either NewEgg or Microcenter.

  • @kam1su2 Well, I'll wait until I see you putting up about 3,000 videos and having over 100,000 subscribers and followers. Chris is obviously doing something right. I'm not even going to waste my time looking at your channel. But why don't you point out something's that you like. Just because your on YouTube doesn't mean you have give hate. You can support the people in the videos too you know?

  • NewEgg

  • newballsdotcom has best parts

  • Newegg and Amazon are nice.

  • He didn't answer because he doesn't have the sponsors

  • i like newegg.com personally. they have some really awesome customer service.

  • Wow.. so many replies... simpley put.. stop saying the word best.. the quest is "Where is the most reputable place to buy computer hardware online." They didn't ask for the best place.. they are asking where to buy parts.. lets just ends this convo.. to many zombies, fanboys, and clones that don't understand the idea of an opinion and having someone state theirs without being a carebear about it. So lets just end it.. and just say fine... he answered as "Best" as he could.

  • good bedroom

  • @kam1su2 then stop watching the videos........ he gives as direct of an answer as he feels comfortable with, and he always gives reasoning for every answer he has, and what ever he is doing must be working because i have not found myself in front of a computer screen watching you.......

  • @blueliner011 lol.

  • @kam1su2 You shouldn't have said that. You should know Chris has a whole bunch of followers that listen to everything he says. Stating an opinion against Chris will earn you lots of insults from all his stupid followers. Now you know!

  • @xs1ner lol, its the same way with raywilliamjohnson

  • @danieldvs100 lol

  • @kam1su2 as he says "There is no BEST"

  • @kam1su2 buddy, its cause the questions people ask, are OPINION BASED questions, and Chris knows that if he says amazon.com is the best people will bash him saying that he is being paid to say that, or whatnot. and you would be the person to say that some other place is better over his opinion.

  • Newegg FTW

  • Can you give us a coupon for a free Mac Pro 8-Core with two 30 inch cinema displays? haha! Nice video Chris.

  • He's a Mac user he can only tell you to go to a apple store lol jk .....newegg is the best by the way. Tigerdirect is also another option

  • @Prabs95 umm... no actually he told us on a live stream to not buy it there...

  • Newegg is great, I've gotten a lot of things from them with no problems.

  • @zlcoolboy Tigerdirect is pretty good.

  • Thats a lie Chris, Newegg is THE best. Hands down. If you don't agree with me then your wrong.

  • newegg or tigerdirect

  • why NCIX of course.

  • @kam1su2 The more specific the question, the more direct the answer. This question, like so many others, was rather vague.

  • Newegg is very good

  • @kam1su2 no one ever gives him enof info like whats better for high speed gaming seagate or western digital 250 gig hard drives ect they like wuts beter dell or mac well the highest priced dell is better then the lowest price mac and vicever

  • @kam1su2 If I said what I thought about your comment then I would probably get a warning from YouTube so im going to refrain... but all the questions your have quoted there are down to personal preference so there is never going to be a definitive answer.

  • I've been building my own computers for years and have always been quite happy with Dabs and MicroDirect. I buy my main components from there and might shop around on other 'PC-modding' specific sites for water cooling, fans, cases, silent PSUs etc, if my budget is higher than normal. My advise is use price-comparison sites and see what stores they list and check them all out for the best one.— Look for ones that offer good verity of components from top brands but don't charge too little/much.

  • What editing program does Chris use?

  • @kam1su2 I agree...its like asking a question on a forum site. You never get an answer for your question. When someone asked this question obviously they just wanted to know some trustworthy places (which...there are def not zillions that are trustworthy) with good prices to get hardware from. I haven't bought online yet but i hear that newegg place is pretty good.

  • @lawlawlowned if someone asked you: "which car should i buy?" what would you tell him? not the answer is "not straight" but the question! if someone asked you "i need a car that is reliable, saves gas and costs about 20.000" you would be able to give a straigt answer, but as long as you don't know, what the person's circumstances and wishes are you can only give vague answers.

  • newegg ftw!

  • @kam1su2 because there NEVER exists a straight answer!

  • @brietzmann 1+1=2 you fall corrected.

  • Chris looks like hes wearing lipstick in this video. Haha!

  • Newegg. :P

  • Well newegg. But recently I've been loyal to Microcenter ever since I got an i7-930 for $200. And every time I go there its like a fairytale land. All that the eye can see is computer hardware. It is a beautiful mystical land. And the employees are awesome and helpful. I ended up getting into a full on nerd conversation with an employee about hardware. I feel very lucky to live near one.

  • For everyone responding to my comment.. its this simple.. He could have just simply stated his own opinion and why.. he never does.. he just says.. its all up too you escaping the question.. Yes the tech world is always changing, but with every generation there is clearing a product or service that is superior for its time, or something that people choose. Don't confuse his carebear attitude towards opinions as answers, they aren't.. he's skating around it as to not show a bias.

  • @kam1su2 i noticed that too

  • Chris never reply the comment ?

  • Newegg

  • Newegg normally.

  • here in nl i use hardware.info to find the best stores / prices

  • @kam1su2 2:35 - 2:45 makes that comment the stupidest thing ever

  • @kam1su2

    Hm~

  • which is the best site to ask a question to chris? wtf lol... too many sites!

  • @kam1su2 - he does answer them just not specifically he gives you more information to make a judgement yourself, there is no better there is only preference

  • Guys... The title of this video is 'Where Do You Buy Your Computer Hardware?' NOT 'Where Is The Best Place To Buy Your Computer Hardware?' so he doesn't need to give a direct place... He's telling you how to get a good deal and how to do your research.

  • First check Newegg, then BestBuy, then Walmart. If you wanna be nice, go to your local electronics stores website, and buy there.

  • amazon.com pretty cheap an great

  • @kam1su2 its becuase there really is no direct yes no answer. ati is better then nvidia in some respects and vis versa. The tech world is always changing and nothing is ever better then something else for very long. and the best of anything is always an opinion make your own. he just gives suggestions

  • @kam1su2 i kinda have to agree. For me the best place to buy the stuff is best buy. Because of the low prices. ( the best buy has been "going out of buisness" for the last year.) and for the simpler things mygearstore is the place to go. i would like to know what store chris shops at MOST for all his stuff

  • tigerdirect(dot)com best place hands down

  • newegg.com is the best, and no one has to pay me for a real answer...

  • @kam1su2 He reviews and gives valid points his personal opinion... The videos would suck if he just said so and so is better.

  • for mac stuff.. how about ifixit.com. Ebay for some gems gut you have to hunt. Your local fry's susperstore if you can find one.

  • The lockergnome website is misspelled in the Underbar

  • He should have asked 3DGAMEMAN, he actually knows something about hardware.

  • Ebay!

  • @kam1su2 Maybe... it's because there is NO direct answer?

Like often in life its a decision you have to do for yourself and chris gives advice how to get to your answer / gives recommendations on how to get background to make such a decision.

And I think he does a very good job on that.

Yes it cpould be shortened sometimes, but then something important would be missing for someone without background knowledge or deeper insight into the topic.

So I think Chris does a great job in general terms.

  • newegg or tigerdirect. the most trustworthy sites, i bought my pc parts from both places. however newegg sometimes has lower prices then tigerdirect on some items, and tigerdirect has lower prices then newegg on some items. so select the component you want, check if it is on either site, and buy from the site that has lower price. saved me a few dollars.

  • newegg.com of course

  • He never gives a straight answer, does he...

  • does chris run youtub/lockergnome

  • thumbs up for chris on his landing pad :)

  • Australia and really like mwave and pc case gear.

I also like GAME for games and also Games101.

I can't find coupons but not suprised.

  • tigerdirect

  • Newegg!!!!

  • newegg is best for prices and some hardware, Ncix is better for shipping, special rebates, and tigerdirect is BEAST for hardware but sucks for shipping. Once I bought a tube of thermal past from Tigerdirect and the shipping costs more than the tube -.-

  • @kam1su2 - And YOUR answer is...?

  • @lockergnome

You could at least have put out there.. about the few online shops that have been around for a bit like tigerdirect, newegg or lesser known microcenter to name just a few... but.. you completely rely on other people posting comments to get their answer.. you yourself rarely ever.. if at all answer the "tough" questions ><. Start answering the questions with your own opinions.. or is the money the companies paying you too good?

  • @lockergnome My penis is pretty good hardware

  • @lockergnome lol hey and chris are u going to get windows phone 7 just curious

  • @lockergnome are u going to get windows phone 7 just curious

  • @lockergnome he came to this video looking to get an answer, not give an answer

  • @lockergnome

You just made his point -_-

  • @lockergnome dabs :P

  • @lockergnome I understand where you are coming from, but could you talk about the topic you do because it makes people think about their decisions. But since you have visited a lot of vendors, your personal opinion is what people will trust and not always the comments of other "random" people.

  • @lockergnome I always buy from newegg :) Nothing like "reputable" user reviews. But you have to ignore the: Tech Level high "This video card sucks! It cant play crysis! *They bought an HD4550*

  • @lockergnome ATI-NVIDIA. Tie. I tend to prefer AMD. Western Digital.

  • @lockergnome All he wants is your nerdy ass to say yes or no.

  • @lockergnome lol burn

  • @lockergnome You have years of experience in answering questions like this. We expect a straight answer from you, not kam1su2.

  • I just lost the game....I usualy lose the game when i watch commercials aswell... Coincidence? I dont think so.

  • newegg

    ncix

    tigerdirect

    :)

  • zwee.com is a scam! looked authentic! :( wanted to buy an xbox 360. luckily i didn't put it my credit card info.

  • Still waiting for his thoughts on the iphone 4's problems. Would very much like to hear his spin on Consumer Reports recommending a "don't buy". This guy is no longer objective.

  • Newegg is always the best. The prices are amazing, and I trust them, and have always been satisfied. Amazon is also pretty good, but Newegg is better.

  • NewEgg, Frozen CPU, and the occasional TigerDirect for personal. CDW for work.

  • Who doesn't use Newegg? Haha

  • Newegg

  • You have the nicest house! was it sponsored to?

  • I use newegg. :D

  • microcenter, tigerdirect, newegg?

  • typical redundant Chris. never gives a straight answer, or a simple one. this is probably why you have so many videos that are over 2 minutes. you could just say "I recommend (Blank)" "It's hard to say which one is best its up to you". but no, you give this long ass explanation that makes people want to regret ever asking anything...

  • Amazon

  • NewEgg!! :)

  • Newegg/ Tigerdirect. Sometimes Amazon and zipzoomfly. It all comes down to price/ availability.

  • i hate free shipping that doesnt include Hawaii and Alaska

  • Did Chris give a direct answer in the email? or he answers in this video... If he did answer in this video then hes a retard... The guy asks you for advice if you know as much as you say you know about computers Chris you would have said Newegg or TigerDirect... two best sites and i say that because of the shipping and the selection because everyone already knows how good the deals are.. i build computers on a daily basis so if i were asked that question i would say newegg or tigerdirect....

  • Tiger Direct!!

  • NewEgg is really the best afaik. Although I hardly order online because my local Frys Electronics is like 15 minutes away and they have essentially everything I need for great prices, plus I hate waiting for shipping :v

  • DirectCanada :)

  • Newegg

  • Newegg/TigerDirect

  • Newegg all the way!

  • TigerDirect All the Way Up

  • newegg/microcenter

  • Newegg

  • The verdict appears to be Newegg.

    I agree.

  • NewEgg/MicroCenter

  • do you still do cable t.v. ? i loved the show you guys had in northern cali, just wondering if you guys were still doing that in some way.

  • Chris you talk like a politicion, you seem to always stay neutral when someone asks for your help, look at the comment-canada computers, newegg, webuy, compusa, Chris why not just share your favorite place to purchase computer hardware or software instead of beating around the bush...

  • Obviously it's Newegg. Amazon is pretty good too. TigerDirect doesn't charge taxes for CA residents. Those are all trust worthy.

  • Newegg for lowest price and hardware. Tiger for the same reason. But tiger sucks a bit.

  • newegg wut wuuut

  • Newegg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Newegg/tiger

  • I use canada computers, they seem to be fair for shipping and get my parts to me in a timely fashion.
