@2583803 Performance 2strokes should have there rings changed @ 15-20 hrs. That assumes the carb jetting is maintained. For stock jetting that is not maintained, U can get more hrs, they run rich. Rings can be changed in 30min if U know what ur doing, a novice will take 1 1/2hr to be taught. Filter cleaning is high on the priority list as well, most use soap & water, apply filter oil and wring out exes water.

Flags are most likely used for easy sight when jumping the person jumping can try to prevent hitting the other rider. Also it can be used to just make sure you stay safe from any other crash

Well Get the ltr if its cheaper.. its a very good machine and more reliable.. pure racing sports quad.. even if its stock do like you said removing the air box lid , baffle.. and put a cherry bomb that would increase the power.. except for the baffle .. only remove it for the sound to occur more loudly.. raptor 700 is fast at top speed .. a little bit more then the 700 so the 700 is faster..

it really depends on your riding style. Right now i have a yfz 450 and a raptor 700. Raptors are fast but they have nothing on the 450's when it comes to handling. Personally i prefer the 450 because its as fast and it handles better. but again if your like to carve the dunes with a more comfortable but still fast as hell ride then go with the raptor.

Get a Raptor 700.. and both of them top out till 140 and more.. Raptor's especially the new 09 has a very smooth suspension.. confortable to ride like the banshee ..

Unless ur piston is broen it will not sound right and the smoke won't come out one of your exhaust when u start it.. and it will often stall when the quad is over heated.. if you buy a banhee take goodc are of it..

no my 660 doesn't over heat i rode my raptor hard the last time i was at the dunes racing and hil climbs and it didn't over heat just make sure you have coolant and you should be fine and fuel injection will have nothing to do with you cooling system

If you need a quad with a good price and really great power get a 700r if you find it for a good price .. if not get a 660 as most of us suggest.. if not 660 then probably a z400.. i made my choice with z400.. because its the most quad which you can do tricks with z400 and the 450's like yfz and ltr..

Well Banshee is a little stronger then the z400 in acceleration due to its 2 cylinder and 2 stroke engine but on the top speed i think z400 are faster.. raptor 660 is a little bit faster on the top speed then the z400 .. that's in stock .. upgraded vs upgraded I think the z400 could handle the 660 ..

From these ones if u need a quad which lasts long enough and more reliable I would suggest u the raptor.. Banshees need to be clean and cared very good and serviced on time so that the quad lasts long.. Suzuki z400 is a good quad not because i have it its because it deserves that kind of a rating.. its a very good quad in over all powerful great control.. and the Z400 has a better cooling system..
