  • Thanks for posting this Treasure! Luk Chi Fu looked amazing! I never tire of watching this clip. Thank You. The music accents it perfectly

  • The famous Luk Chi Fu at last. He was legend by the time I heard of him. I really admire how he does his CNF, tons of personality and presence. Totally unlike the way I was introduced to the form. I shall drink this in for many days in training. *bows*

  • @karinakunglao1 This goes back to the reign of genghis khan and his grandson Kublai Khan. The Mongols used the Tibetans as allies to help overthrow China. As well as to force Buddhism and diffuse the Taoist sects.

  • Very GOOD!

  • Very nice- great post, THANKS!!

  • thanks for uploading this video...will add to my collection...more power to us in pakhok...and to our future students.

  • Notice the constant "rocking" back and forth, shifting weight from left to right and back again. I wonder what the significance of this is.

  • This is not Taiji. The principle are very different and require more information than I can give here. The back and forth is necessary for the principles of this practice.

  • @Bedstysifu This is Tibetan indeed. My sifu is Steve Ventura whose Grandmaster was Chan Tai San.

  • @memyself2k

you mean whose Sifu was Chan Tai San. Ventura is my Gung Fu brother under Chan Tai San. Chan Tai San is your Grandmaster.

  • @Bedstysifu Yes, I stand corrected. LOL! Chan Tai San is my grandmaster.

  • Taiji is more 60/40 movement, Cotton Needle is 90/10. Balance and coordination is obviously very important, the set is normally performed on elevated 14 elevated pillars.

  • @ajaben good question. This type of training lowers the center of gravity. Shift back while "leaving something behind."

  • It is our tresuary, Sigong was a very nice master to young kids while we were young and he always teased us while in wanchi pak hok training. We missed him so much with great deep sad in mind.

  • I have this tape. One of my students found a copy somewhere and burned me one. All of the moves are correct. The lines are out of order. This training is a treasure.

  • WOW - interesting. I am surprised to see this on Youtube. A little mixed up in the editing but an amazing old classic performance from Master Luk Chi Fu. I will have to slow this down to watch it more as it should be performed.

  • You never know what you may see on youtube. As I said , this is only for a record of Luk Chi Fu and for people to be able to see him. His name was always famous to me since I was a kid, and he is my Sigung since he was the teacher of Wan Chi Ming, my Sifu.

  • Thanks a lot for share this video.

Guao is amazing to see this wonderfull art performed for this grand master, a mean Mng Psiu Chung´s disciple.

    Again Thank you very much!!!!

  • Sifu, thank you for posting so many amazing videos to youtube. They are very valuable to the gung fu community, and I certainly enjoy watching them!

  • Excellent video..... Thanks for sharing.

  • Bedstysifu, you're great positing this valuable clip !!! thank you !!

  • Wow, very very nice! The benefits a Human being can gain from this type of a system are just beyond description, what a great flow this Master has too.

  • There is a lot more to be said about this form but this particular forum doesn't really allow for it.

  • Very advanced form. The energy cultivated is incredible. Thank you for posting this gem.

  • when i trained in my old town we would finish the nights with what our sifu called a cotton needle. it was not as complicated or long as this magnificent set in the video, but it was amazing how re-energizing it was.

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks for sharing.
