turn down your high end... way to bright and screamy. (note that in a mix this could be a good thing as you are only responsible for the solo part... however when doing just one guitar playing this kinda high end is painful to the ear and makes people rage hate on your sound. ... youtube doesn't help things...

I once passed up the chance at this fugly, puke green, Bass that this shop had, called Guitars R' Us on Sunset Blvd. The shop owner, AL, knew my vibe better than I knew myself at the time. It sounded gorgeous, but it was hideous to look at. I went back a day later and some other person snapped it up. Shameful. All instruments should be about "substance" over "glamour".

@thepoozer: Also, it is deceptive as to what people will use in the studio, despite what they're seen playing live. For instance, most of Led Zeppelin's recordings were done with Telecaster that Jeff Beck gave to Jimmy Page back when they were in the Yardbirds together. Yet, Jimmy is known for that beautiful Cherry Sunburst '59 Les Paul. Yet, if you listen real closely and you know the tele sound, you can hear it.

i dont know who rated this 1 star cuase i thought it was awsome. im learning that solo right now, im only confused in that 5p4 pul of and so forth to put it together with the othrer parts with the 5s7 5s7 6 etc, the tone was great too, nice sustain, i should b getting some real quality guitar soon...
