You having a laugh m8? Most clubs play Aston Villa and the likes week in week out!
Its only in Chester where a DRAW against Aston Villa becomes one of the clubs historical events. But dont delude yourself. A one of game does not alter the fact that by and large the only team Chester have ever been capable of beating is the B team! And that is only because they dont even have one
I think you'll find that "most clubs" don't play the likes of Villa week in week out. The Premiership clubs do, and they make up about 0.01% of all the clubs that play the game. For a club like Chester, from a small City with a low fanbase, to reach the semis of the League Cup wasn't a bad achievement, but if you can't understand that go back to your armchair Premiership shite
I was there that night, in the Sealand Road end just near the spot where Derek Draper crossed for the second equaliser. This is the first time I've seen video of all the goals. Any video of the second leg?
What a fantastic team Chester had that season. Wish there had been cameras at the Leeds game a few weeks earlier!
