You never finish learning guitar, there is always something new on a new song you try. How fast you get to play depends on several things, the time you dedicate and the way you do it, some prefer to learn by ear, it takes more time, others prefer by tabs, takes less time. I think the best is to combine both as you won't find tabs for all the songs ;)

I suppose you're right, but it is easier than tuning it standard. Besides, there are a few people who say that bands tune to the notes that compliments the lead singer's voice.

That could be, but in this case is just half a tone, I don't think that gives the vocalist a great difference than standard tuning.

Actually tuning to Flat can make vibrato easier because the strings are a bit more loose

Good question dude, I used to play some of my videos over the original recording, some got out of sync when uploading, I use to get a few comments saying that's fake, doing videos in standard tuning will make them eat their words if they want to say something like that, anyway, thanks dude.
