i like the way the vw driver blatantly stops in the deep part of the snow to make it get stuck. it could have gotten out first try. obviously the audi will be better in the snow, but this is a poor example.

as these are VW/Audi group cars i always thought VW's 4motion was just another name for the quattro system .. either way, the driver of the VW clearly has the handbrake on, the wheel was being dragged over the ice ffs!!

Was that guy at the beginning clearing the snow off the cars with a metal shovel?!? you may as well had used that plow truck at 0:50 to clear the snow off the cars. Also don't forget to release the parking brakes on your cars, i really hope these are just demo cars and you don't plan on selling these vehicles to your customers....

It doesn't show the vehicle drive in snow just moved it across the lane with snow plowed. My Chevrolet impala could do it too.

the mk6s have the option of having the DRLs turned off using the instrument cluster but I do agree that you can see the rear wheels locked up, and VW and Audi are one in the same gadgetguy, 4motion=quattro. both use haldex difs.

I dont belive it when you say the handbrake was not on, i work at a VW dealership, and drive a VW myself. with the hand brake down, the DRL should be on, in this case... it wasn't... all bulbs burnt out?

and comparing a FWD with AWD is a no brainer... you're not proving anything here

The handbrake was not on, just 10+inches of snow with an under layer of ice. Vermont drivers know what's up:)

@RaguelAngelofBalance At 1:30 the rear wheels lock and skid a bit *before* the car comes to a stop, that is not possible unless you use the brake.
