They completely destroyed the whole point of the first movie! They DIDN'T know what the fuck what happening to them and that's where the innocence came from.The first movie explored the possibilities of growing up completely isolated from society with barely any knowledge of your own self. Its basically a re-imagining of Adam and Eve, but this one completely shits on that point and focuses on the sex part of it!

I saw this because I saw The Blue Lagoon and so had to see the sequel. Its really kind of a remake only with the son of the couple in The Blue Lagoon. I like movies about teens fending for themselves and allowed to explore their emotions free of parental control. Milla is really beautiful and the horrors of being shipwrecked would be totally offset by being shipwrecked with Milla. Of course this is the Milla with makeup, nutrition and shelter. She might have looked a mess otherwise.

I love the first but I hated the fact that in the second one it turned out that Emmaline and Richard died because of how much berries they took while Paddy/Richard lived because he only ate a few. Anyway in this movie Emmaline's and Richards child wounds up back on the same island he was born with Lili and her mother and instead of not understanding puberty like in the first Lili's mum teaches them from the bible until she dies. They grow up and relive Richard and Emmaline's life. I love It !!!!

It's not a sequel, really. It's a whole new story, set on the same island. Richard, in this movie, is actually Paddy. You should try to rent it! Not as good as the original, but still good.

in the first movie they ate the posioning berries because they thought that their babies had eaten them, but he didn't actually. Then a ship found them they rescued the baby but it was too late for his mother and father. That baby is this guy in this movie. This girl is the daughter of a woman who were in the same ship which rescued them. The mother, her daughter and the rescued baby reached the same island again and a new story began. I can summarize it like that :)

Actually in the 1st movie the Never Wake Up berries were not actually poisonous, they just made you go to sleep for a long time. The baby (Paddy) did eat them and he fell asleep but they thought he died, and they thought if the baby they created out of love together died, then they wanted to die too, so they ate the berries. At the end of the movie, they were found... asleep. But the 2nd movie says they were dead... but they just needed to create a new story.
