@RdSoxFan618 Ha, I was telling him all night that if a ball's hit to center or right, don't jump up and get in the way of the shot, so at that moment I saw him jumping up in my way and I held him back with my gloved left hand while saying "Gary, stop!" or whatever. He was actually acting pretty good, though, the most normal I've ever seen Gary, I think.

Meh, i hate the whole idea of a "closer" anyway, i would just let him pitch in innings that aren't the 9th inning and see what happens, if he's one of the worst in the pen then send him down once Padilla or Garland returns.

They should just put Hong-Chih Kuo as the reliever now before Broxton blows 10 saves later in the year. He can't allow any homeruns if he closes it out, even if they have a 10 run lead. If dodgers were winning by only 1 they would of lost.

Did you happen to catch on video, after the Sandoval home run? The fan who threw it back made it from the Right Field Pavilions to the pitchers mound. It was on a roll of course but still it was impressive

I've gone to all 4 games and I gotta say, Broxton held his own, not sucked but kept his head in at least to earn 3 saves, it's good to see more dodger fans showing great support!

@MrStoney420 How can you say it doesn't suck to have more home runs allowed (2) than strikeouts (1)? If Broxton appeared in 60 games this year, all save situations with a three run lead, and gave up exactly two runs in all 60 games, converting all 60 save attempts, with an ERA of 18.0, would you say he had a good year? No, it would be the worst year a major league pitcher has ever had basically, but he simply got insanely lucky to be in situations where he can get the pointless "save" stat.
