yo can see in both projector bad light luminannce in de edges and corners, the worst is the panasonic but if you put attention at the epson center, the ight is much brigther in the center of the secreen and less light and corner and edges.
Hahaha, you must be kidding! First, the recodred video quality is ubeleivably POOR! Second, you should play test video and for ex. response time test. HAHAHA!
you got money to buy an expensive projector but you got the worst videocamera in wide world the poorest guy on america has an hd video camera...you suck
You can't compare two projectors side by side with a freakin video camera that has nowhere near the dynamic range of the human eye! Not to mention viewing side by side your own irises will close down more from the brighter projector making the dimmer one appear more dim than it would by itself and making its blacks appear darker than they would really look (this goes for the whites too). The only good way to judge is to view one after the other, NOT at the same time. This goes for screens too.
I agree EvilDark, but there is still a call from viewers to see them all side by side despite these limitations. Like you mention, what we see in the videos does not always accurately reflect what we see in person, so we try and comment on the videos when we post them too. Also, we created a showroom on our Home Theater People website that compares them all one at a time - same camera, same environment - etc. I can't post a link here but home theater people dotcom showroom if you're intersested
Sony is nothing compare to Epson 1080 UB, Epson New panel improve picture and black level, it's currently the best right now. Sony still haven't got any new improvement to compare with, unless you want too waste money for the "S" brand with nothing better than Epson. Epson is the only projector that output the 1600 lumen as advertise on spec, none projector on Market can even get close to advertisement lumen, especially Sony.

You camera angle is off, in order to correct review the video. You have to places the camera in middle.

Is the Panasonic just a tad darker, or is the angle of the video camera recording the image?
