  • In my top five all-time lines from a movie: "Now, nobody gives two fucks for Bella" ROFLAO

  • "your collection is quite shoddy, your wasting my time"

  • "I refuse to drive in this country, too many madmen"

  • Watching this movie is almost exactly like watching an old black and white movie. Kudos to the cinematographer.

  • comment removed by Ed Wood Jr.

  • Girls, you will be more horny for Dracula that with Edward Cullen.

  • @godzilla964 Edwardo Cullen turns me off, Dracula himself turns me on!

Im a real vampire fan i like the traditional vampires even True Blood!

  • bad ass glasses!!

  • LOL I really need to watch all of this movie at some point. xD

  • That house looks like Bela's real home for sure. Check out Plan 9 from Outer Space with the scene of Bela smelling the rose bush out front. That was his real home in that movie. *Referenced from the book The Golden Turkey Awards. Johnny Depp nailed Ed Wood in this performance. It's like he's not quite there any of the time, just brilliant!

  • great actor! best portrayal of bela lugosi, probably only portrayal...but even if not, undenyably the best

and i can only hope that bela lugosi's later life as tragic as it was, was not as tragic as portrayed in the movie

  • What do you think Bela would think of Godzilla?

  • ''This is the most uncomfortable coffin i ever been in'' hahaha! i love martins protraying of bela lugosi!

  • Martin Landau is fantastic!

  • Isnt Bela's neighborhood were Friday was filmed?

Sad, those old neighborhoods full of gangbangers and illegal aliens now.

  • One of my favorite movie lines: "Back in the old days, Yes....Now, no one gives two F'cks for Bela!"...Classic!

  • "I refuse to drive in this country , too many mad men"....! A master piece...!

  • too bad that vampires arent that great anymore:(

bela lugosi did have a class and style, he was the dracula:) may that great man rest in peace

  • amazing film. johnny and martin are fantastic.

  • both the real bela lugosi and martins potraying of bela lugosi rocks and they are both great people i love them so much

and johnny depps potraying of ed wood is great too and so is mr depp.

  • If Bela was still alive he would be saying

" Who would watch the classics anymore

Today it's all CGI. Gore and sex and emo vampires who would believe in such monsters?"

  • i love martin's potraying of bela lugosi

    bela lugosi is the king!!

  • martin did a good job as mr lugosi

  • haha i like the look on his face when Bela Lugosi says "the children of the night are calling me" he's like "this guy's awsome" and "WTF??"

  • too bad they dont make horror movies like they did before they was so classic and so damn good i wish i lived back in that time and it woulda been great to have met bela lugosi too and others who was popular

  • I sing about Lugosi and others in The Celebrity Song.

  • "Today it's all giant bugs. Giant spider's, giant grasshoppers, who would believe such nonsense?"

Well now it's not even really about the monsters at all. Now it's all about the "jump scares" and remakes. It's sad my generation looks down on the original classics. They didn't need gore or sex. Just atmosphere, music, and fantastic acting. The Universal Horror movies were particularly great. It's sad how the horror genre suffers along with some of the finest actors to work in it like Bela.

  • It would have been funnier if he cursed in Hungarian. Other than that, this performance is chillingly... Lugosi-like

  • Oh and Martin Laundau was great in this. Really deserved that Oscar and made me almost forget it was him he was that good. Rick Baker also deserves some credit for the make-up on him. There's a Universal Monster book that has a section where he's talking about the difficulties it took to make Laundau look like him and clearly that work paid off!

  • I know these aren't REALLY the people and some of the stuff likw Lugosi hating Karloff is false, but I love this movie and it really gives me a second opinion of Wood and Lugosi working with him. DOn't get me wrong Wood was a phenominally bad filmaker, but he seemed like a decent fellow. He definately helped Lugosi money-wise and through his problems. Lugosi still got silly material, but I love him in anything really. Great actor and the first to enter rehab. That shows his bravery and strength.

  • @balrog13571 Ed Wood may have helped lugosi, but Lugosi helped wood too, his movies went down the toilet when Lugosi died, so he was the guy holding the shit together!

  • @selfidentity1 Very true.

  • love how the mortuary is right beside the bar.

  • Bela Lugosi best actor

  • Love the car

  • @BallzMahoney

    1940 Plymouth De Luxe

  • For some reason this movie gets my creative juices flowing and inspires me! I one day want to write and direct!

  • Same feeling for me.

The enthousiasm, will, and love for movie; all of this from Ed WOOD just makes me want to express myself too.

One of the most beautiful movie ever.

  • @numberjuanchicano can't wait to see your D movies

  • I refuse to drive in this country, too many madman

  • -I'm planning on dying soon

    -No!

  • I love how Lugosi derisively says "Ah!" after Ed Wood tells him what a big fan he is.

  • nobody gives two F's

  • I hope I can become as foul mouthed and cranky like he is when I get older!

  • that's the dream isn't it?

throw in his attraction to Vampira and its just the perfect senrior citizen's dream

  • is that johnny depp in this great film?

  • lol-"take my word for it if: you want to make out with a young lady, take her to see dracula" my kind of guy!love this movie

  • That's so funny how Landeau sounds almost like Cary Grant!

  • Comment removed

  • Goss Martin Landau was great as Bela Lugosi. If you've seen an interview on You Tube with Martn Landau. The interviewer said "You didn't actually played Bela. You transformed into him." I totally agree.

  • Actors are taught not to act,but to "be" the character. Most of todays actors don't know anything about that. Depp is the king. First one to take me to fatburger here in LA. Not that anyone cares. ha ha.

  • I see from your profile that you work in LA. So, Depp took you for a burger? Cool!

  • Yeah, at the time. I was a UCLA football player. I also met Tim Burton himself. Both cool dudes.

  • Cool!

  • you met burton and depp? and you even ate burgers with depp? you lucky motherfucker ;)

  • This is like the only Burton movie not scored by Elfman, except Sweeny Todd for obvious reasons.

  • why?

  • But he must be pronounced "Lugoshi".

  • The bar he's in is Boardner's, which is still around...it's just off Hollywood Blvd...on Cherokee, I believe. I used to go there when I lived in Hwood.

  • really, coowl :)

  • your much scarier in person. lol :)

  • I thought the funny part was when Lugosi thanks him for the "compliment".

  • I looooove MARTIN LANDAU!!!!!!!!

  • Me too. He became one of my favorite actors after I saw this movie and "Crimes and Misdemeanors."

  • 4 years before Bela met Ed Wood he did make a movie, it was called "Bela Lugosi meets a brooklyn Gorilla"

  • I own it. It's wacky. LOL.

  • Funniest line in the movie was: "Karloff does not deserve to smell my s***! "

  • No one gives two fucks for Bela!

  • Funniest line in the movie!
