Of course PS3 is the best console, but if you think it isn't, then its not! PS3 has Uncharted, inFamous, and LittleBigPlanet. But the Xbox is also cool because it has Halo and some other games. And Wii.. well... I gotta admit, that thing is from the company that started video games in THE 1ST PLACE. So it's technologies are pretty cool...

Last Microsoft

They have used there money wisely by making newer and better ways to game. They unlike sony have been putting there money into there games to make the game play better. This has sadly made it to where they loose there younger players How ever making games that are 70% of the time rated higher then any of sonys games.

Sadly there money hunger has made it to were you must pay for all things you want to do via multiplayer.

@axe11154 i have the same problem here, what games are you talking about are rated higher? i mean i don't mean to use the halo stereotype, but i do LOVE halo a lot, but it's not enough to switch to their console. i also don't like most xbox exclusives such as gears of war. they're entertaining, but they're not quite as good as ps3 exclusives. again, this is just my opinion, but i actually prefer playstation exclusives over xbox exclusives.

A good reason to switch is because how Microsoft have been evolving to feature there games more then work on side jobs as past mentioned.

Nintendo works on what kids want most instead of going on to new things. This as of 2007 has been killing them. They also believe that there old rival Sega while in there control shouldn't be let loose. Nintendo has been Chocking Sega on every game they make to prevent them from re gaining there former fame. Resonantly however they have stopped this and have given promise to Sega that they could make Nintendo's next console. If Nintendo has really stopped choking them they may be saved.

Sony focuses a large amount of there games on graphics not gameplay. This has been oddly anuf what has driven more people to buy them. The young people now see a shiny looking graphic and they draw in like moths to a fire.

@axe11154 i disagree to be honest. i mean i like games like uncharted, resistance, killzone, and littlebigplanet for a lot more than their graphics... the only exception is mgs4 which i didn't like nearly as much as the previous entries in the series.

actually if you think about it, microsoft and sony took most of their ideas from nintendo.

Wii has Mii's, so micro make avatars and sony makes home

Ds has camera, Micro makes kinect and sony makes well... fill me in on that one.

Wii has Wiimote, Micro make kinect and sony has Move.

Wii make family games. Sony and micro try to overpower it and push it out of the picture.

@dandonicus i like both consoles too, but the ps3 graphics are better! except for in games that are for both systems. has anyone else noticed how much smoother the xbox 360 versions of fallout games are? that and other games like rockband? idk why the hell that happens hahaha, but the ps3 exclusives have absolutely incredible graphics as compared to xbox 360. oh and i really wish i had halo... i've always been jealous for that

@whocares1212121 you shouldn't be for it is only one in many games you can pick. fable gears of war Chromehounds Crackdown Dead or Alive Dead Rising Earth Defense Force 2017 Left 4 Dead those are some great ones The graphics aren't good but picking a game for graphics alone is what little kids who see shiny as good (when half the time its a lie). You sould pic a game by game play instead to improve the likeliness you will have a good game

i gave a neutral point though as i see it, xbox 360s are more liable to break while ps3's use the blu ray and graphics as a selling point, you do get good games like metal gear solid and little big planet but then with metal gear solid they don't hide the fact that they want you to focus on the graphics (bland bosses, extremely long cutscenes)..

Plus as a company i just don't like sony..

@joelyboyy84 i feel the same way with microsoft. i really do hate them. the reason i like the ps3 is just because i've grown accustomed to playstation systems... i do like the xbox a lot, but the ps3 has a bunch of little things that i like. the controllers on ps3 are easy to manage. on xbox i've noticed it's really weird and annoying trying to turn controllers on or switch what number controller you want them to be, but ps3 it's fairly simple. i do agree with mgs4. i didn't like that game

Though when the ps3 was released it was "the ps3 is better but it's very expensive, you might consider getting an xbox instead" though with the price decreases microsoft decided to bring out the new xbox, which almost matches the ps3 hardware capabilities, it's still a bit cheaper than the ps3 but that's due to blue ray.

Overall no major differences between consoles =/

Playstation 3 has everything a console should have and more, being a computer, blu-ray player and having the best graphics

Xbox360 has the largest online community and the largest amount of high-quality exclusives.

Dude, 360 failure rating is 57% and PS3 is 9%. People should buy Ps3 and not 360, instead of wasting money on a 360 that would break down, and trust me. Examples:

Gears of War 3 was put into development something like a year after GoW2 started development.

When they were planning sequels to God of War, the team was divided into two groups. Group A began developing God of War 2, Group B was told to begin building an engine for God of War 3.
