  • Awesome recipie

  • i got a puff pastry sheet which is very very thin..... but ur pastry sheet looks so thick....

is it the right 1??? i got it from a american store.

    please suggest.

  • @sheetal12684 : There is only one type of thickness - so you should be ok.

  • u gals better watch vahchef PUFFS video.... n learn how to make puff sheets. LOL

  • the problem with these sheets are that they are unsalted so even if i sprinkle some on the sheet, they stil taste abit wierd =(

  • hi im using a microwave, how much time should these puffs be kept in it. in my microwave there are three options like grill, micro and combi, which one is appropriate. and what if these puff sheets are not available, can anything else be used in its place ? like flour or maida, pls help..

  • @duyus: Sorry, but this recipe really needs an oven. The pastry dough is made by lots and lots of layers and they become puffy and flaky by the oven heat. The grill does not cook the food evenly...unfortunately, yo will need an oven :(

  • hi Hetal..hii Anuja...i guess i have already once told that i dont have an oven....thats really a sad case...but i really really wana try this one puff...would it help if i fry them..?? if yes then should i deep fry or shallow fry..please helpp!

    thanx..

  • @ShowMeTheCurry ok gals..no problem...

  • @riariariadixit frying puff pastry dough creates a nice flakey dough, but not puffy, i bet it would turn out good but different from the lightness puff pastry creates

  • @riariariadixit hey u can make a chapati with maida and put the filling in it and deep fry..the way we make gujiyas.

  • mmmm.. looks sooo good! thanks for the vid! i think i'll try this out

  • lov the recipe..thanx..u rock..............

  • What a weird chemistry. They're like two bitchy sisters. But thanks for the recipe - I will enjoy making this with another feeling. Something more imaginative than potato and carrot... Maybe tomato sauce and cheese, like a pizza roll.

  • @aminmontrose if u r so smart then why dont u try n make videos n not criticise others.......don't watch them if u dont like it ...asshole

  • U guys r using so much less oil if r using very little oil but much masala as that recipe or food wont be healthy at all because it has masala but no oil in it, after eating this sort of food which recipe has enough masala but very little oil will make gassy tummy. If u r teaching some thing then please teach in a proper way, if any recipe needs oil then please pour little oil please use oil also accordingly.

  • We would love it if you can pass on an article or study that proves your theory. We are not disregarding or disputing what you are say but before we say anything, we like to have our facts right.

    Thank you!

  • @carsonkol - these gals are showing you how they cook food at home. There is no wrong way, just different techniques. Respect.

  • can i use cottage chees??

  • can you plsssss do a tutorial on 'makkai ki roti' (cornbread)? i can't find anything on youtube...from scratch how to make the atta...

  • i tired this but it was raw on teh inside after 15 mins, i think it takes longer

  • how would u make chicken puffs?

would you substitute chicken 4 the veggies and keema?

  • We suggest you use the same recipe, add in the oil, the oinions and once the onions are translucent, add in either ground/minced chicken and cook. The other option is to grill chicken seperately, and then chop it to small pieces and then add to the recipe.

    Hope that helps!

  • hi,can we freeze them uncooked once we have made it puffs, and bake it when guests come,or we have to bake all in once when we put the filling into the puffs.plzzzz reply me.thanks

  • We've never tried to freeze them this way, but are skeptical how the puff pastry dough may react once thawed and refrozen. If you try it, we'd love to hear your feedback.

  • dont hav an oven can i cook in a microven or covered wok

  • Unfortunately, you need an oven to make these.

  • I wanted to know where can I find some of the seasonings you use, such as coriander, dry mango powder, and tumeric powder. I don't believe I've seen them in a grocery store.

  • You can find these and all other spices we use at your local Indian/South Asian grocery store. Some of the common spices such as coriander powder and turmeric are also available in the spice section of your local supermarket.

  • you two look like your having fun.

  • Yes, we are!

  • Hi Anuja and Hetal, can you pls tell me if I can make these puff and keep in refregerator one day before, then just heat them in oven and serve the guest the next day? Will appreciate if you respond soon. Thanks and good luck

  • They tend to get soggy once you make them and re-heat them. It would be better to make the filling the day ahead and keep it in the fridge. It doesn't take too long to fill them and bake them when your guests arrive.

  • y do all americans talk through their noses???

  • Why cant English people use correct grammer and spelling?

  • Hi, I couldn't tell for sure on this, but did you mix the vegetables and keema or were they two separate types of pastry snacks? Keep up the great work!

  • They are two different ways to make these puffs.

  • could you show how to make cormaa plese

  • It is called "Puff Pastry" and you can find it in American grocery stores in the freezer section which has desserts. The brand is Peppridge Farm.

  • So these are like samosas?

  • Not really. Samosas are deep fried and these are baked. The texture is different.
