Someone's got the 'Prepare thyself to deal with a miracle' ?
Would love to have an option to listen to it here in youtube, although ofcourse the tune will stay more miraculous if i only get to listen to it from time to time at my friends place in the neighboring country :)
@TriinTamburiin....i tried some months ago to put the four songs of 'Prepare thyself to deal with a miracle'...unlucky youtube block they.....warner copyright.....i'm sorry....but take it if you can....i recommend that album....it's an intensive cauldron of many jazz styles.....
@AziraphaleDB well i don't actually need one, i just thought it would be great. but i live in brazil, so i don't think you could help, probably. thanks anyway
@xxgmpxx.......i talk with the spirits.......bellissimo disco di come il flauto traverso si può adattare al jazz..........anche io l'ho consumato a furia di ascoltarlo non so più quante volte.........personalmente è forse il disco di roland kirk che preferisco insieme a prepare theyself to deal with a miracle (un lp della discografia kirkiana inspiegabilmente finito nel dimenticatoio)
@ Monkey Island Blues - Man do you have Roland sing a blues number titled Baby Let Me Shake Your Tree. At least that is what I think the title is. The opening solo just kills.
@Bluesdirections yeah i have also the album with baby let me shake your tree....but i can't post it...it's under the control of warner bros...youtube block it.....sorry XD
First heard this tune back in the sixties. Once you hear it, just even ONE time, it's locked somewhere in your mind forever - that's just the way it is. It's actually beyond cool, in the realm of genius.
This sounds as fresh now as it did when I first heard it in 1965. In fact, "I Talk with The Spirits" was the very first jazz album I bought. in my life..the music was so different from anything else I had ever heard. Later I got to meet Rahsaan Roland Kirk.;and had the opportunity to thank him for opening my ears...and my mind. RIP RRK
@whitedudenj01 sti cazzi porco capitalista c'hai ragione deeehihihihihiohoho........thanks for information! you say right!...i love so much the song of villagge stompers.....;-p.........
I don't know why, but this song reminds me Pink Panther's cartoons !

@MonkeyIslandBlues That is a pity. Roland blows some notes that is full of pathos.
