Two Words John Wilfong! One of the greatest era's in Tiger Ball. the 80's were the best. I know we went all the way to the show a few years ago but I loved watching those guys play. Lee, Wilfong, Baskerville Holmes, Elliot Perry... man what a group of guys and nice off the court to to a little poop who went to every game in the coliseum just to see the stuff of legends. THANKS FOR THE POST!
there have been some very great Tiger teams and memeorable seasons. i think the 07-08 Tigers may just be THE best Tiger team...period. PS: i'm a die hard Tiger fan for close to 30 yrs and have loved 'em all.
I was a freshmen in college at memphis in 86-87 had some great times there. also played on the tiger baseball team. glory days, but thats another song.....
This was the graduation song for the class of 1990 at Farmington High School (NH). It remains applicable to so many situations today... Odd how that didn't occur to me back then. Meanwhile, I couldn't be happier that this is the one we chose.
The Famous Final Scene was our Class Song at Westfield High School, Class of 1981, in Westfield MA. It is still a favorite piece at all of our reunions.
Awesome video. Brings back so many memories. The Mid-South Coliseum was rockin' back in the day! I used to stay up late on school nights and watch the replay on the PBS station.
What a year that was! Lee, Bedford, Baskerville, Turner and even Coach Kirk were gone. On probation that year, we could not claim the Metro Title or Conference Championship, but we won both. Beat Louisville 3 TIMES. Later, we were hit with news that Gray and Alexander could never play in Tiger blue again. The Great Run was now becoming the memories they are today. That Season was as MAGICAL as any season we ever had.
this was put together at the end of the season specifically for the last coach's show of the year. it mostly highlighted the 2 seniors, john wilfong and kenneth moody.
All I can say, this underrated ballad (which by the way in this video the peak part was cut off), is one of the top master pieces ever ever recorded. Check out the full version from the album Stranger in Town -Bob Seger

is this not the perfect song for sports. you win and it is golden. but then it fades, until the next glory days.

I remember a montage set to this song on one of the networks after the final game of the finals. Is this from TV, or an original creation?

Yes, I should have realized it was college (not NBA like the one I remembered).
Cool video, nice work.
