It needs a lounder voice and a strength to sing rock song and especiall in live performance we can take example of Central park 1999 Ny where junoon perfomed more than 5 songs live and became a super hit.

I have been playing guitar for almost 13 years and grew up listening to junoon and satriani alike. Xulfi is not as technically capable as someone like Mekaal Hasan(who is extremely gifted AND hardworking),but he does understand his technical limitations well and makes great music within those limitations. Technical chops sans musical soul is useless.

Lets appreciate our pakistani artists instead of constantly cutting them down. Before there was only junoon and now there are many rock artists

Actually Junaid is not a bad singer but Zulfi cannot play guitar to save his life. Zulfi does not even know how to hold the pick right. A 15 year old gora kid plays better than Zulfi out of his basement. Zulfi should not play guitars. He really sucks. His solos are so pitchy and unclear. Why does he pretend like he could shred? LOL. It's horrible. He cannot even tap properly. Zulfi should be arrested and locked up in the Jail of Music.

What he plays at his best is actually not even half decent for a semi pro guitar player. What's sad about his playing is that he thinks he is picking but he is hitting mostly dead notes. That has nothing to do with amp if you're hitting dead notes. Zulfi is a horrible guitar player and it's a known fact.

Zulfi is a very very average guitarist when it comes to live performances, his flaws are clearly noticable. But as a composer in the studio, that guy's pretty hardcore. I was really impressed with his guitar melodies in Irtiqa ( songs like Barzakh and Rahguzr)

I totally respect your opinion but the guitar work in Irtiqa was way below average for my guitar standards. Players like Mark Trimonti, David Grohl or Mike McCready are very decent players but even they can NEVER come close to what legendary guitar players do. Zulfi is about 2 million years away from Trimonti, Grohl and McCready. Zulfi can't even come close to a desi guitarist like Nabeel or Shalum.

I'm not sure about the drop D but distortion DOES give young kids in Pakistan the impression of a great player which you and I know is not true. It's sad how we have not matured in many many years.
