Violent crime would be drastically reduced if criminals were punished accordingly. We now have a whole host of sociologists and others who make one excuse after another for violent individuals who commit horrendous offences against others. The war cry from these people is that prison is no longer working and we should look for alternatives;well if criminals were given sentences which protected the public and made to serve them they would not be able to reoffend against the public.
We all can have liberal views if we live on a private estate and can afford a private security firm to protect our property and personal safety. The fact is that violent crime affects some of the poorest and most vulnerable members of society. These types of people cannot afford to move to a safer area when they are plagued by anti-social behaviour. They rely upon the forces of law and order and the criminal justice system to protect them.

That fucking waste of DNA( the aggressor) should be dropped on the taliban with his arsehole packed with grenades but no he'll have said to his mates in the dole queue he was jumped by 10 pakis and the mindless hate will continue.
there ARE enough police they're just not given the right jobs. instead of solving crimes and being on patrol they're being being put on road patrol, sitting on the side of the road with a speed camera .......... shouldnt speed cameras be the end of this?
To be honest all of the crime that is going on in england would drastically drop if not stop if you had the same paramilitary-response that we have here in Northern Ireland. Put it this way, if you go out and burgle an old grannys house or deal drugs within your community, which will you fear more, the cops arresting you, questioning you then letting you go or bailing you. Or 4 to 8 grown men in balaclavas armed to the teeth kicking in your door dragging you outside and shooting you in the legs?

When the Provos were in full effect and had an iron-grip on my community these wee shits wouldnt have been as care-free, it still happened but its got so much worse now compared to during the conflict.. they even have a saying "HRF" hoods run free. The hoodlums here are police informants aka touts they do "run free"

@dogwafter one of my close friends was beaten to death in an unprovoked attack going home from a game of snooker one evening by a pack of these animals.all they got was 5 years.they were out after 3 years for good behaviour.it really pains me to see the state of my beloved country.i totally agree with your comment,the police need to adapt a zero tolerance policy similar to what they have in new york.lets hope the goverment see sense and make our country great again.
