It sounds more like an isolated drum track than a solo. That said, you'd probably make a good session musician just based off what you do here. I'd advise maybe working away from the 3 bars time/1 bar fill pattern and get into some more deviant stuff... I dunno... maybe eighth notes on the bass drum and crescendoing tom rolls on top or something... get creative!

It's not dead... It has great attack, so you can easily hear each hit on the toms, while with other heads this effect is almost lost or very low in volume. I like very much toms with plenty of attack... A drumkit it's not only bass drum and snare! I want to hear clearly a tom when hit within a solo! Never heard a more alive sound than this! Bye!
