@SHAWTYZOOM VW's are pretty much solid cars. For example my parents had a golf 3, and had no major problems. And recently got a golf IV tdi engine. Believe these vw's are pretty awesome. No leaks whatsoever.
Usually, you know what makes the 0-60 times slower? Well, I will answer this question for you :)........When you shift into third gear just before hitting 60. People should stay in 2nd while doing 60 mph.
The speed of change from a DSG Box would lose you maybe .1 of a second, while losing power from a dropping power and torque peak would cost you more then .1 of a second..
Moving to the next Gear with MORE power and torque would accelerate you faster than the loss of .1 of a second..
So even though he changed, the time could have been MARGINALLY Better.
what r u talking about. i only said best 0-60 wouldve been hitting 60 in 2nd gear instead of shifting right b4 60 mph. i never said this was a dsg. its a 6pd manual with a clutch pedal

time. in theory DSG is faster, but not way faster you siad.
Amazing shift technique... while DSG is ok, nothing beats the engagement of an actual manual transmission...

i think the shift from 2nd to 3rd was a little early.
0-60 time could have been a few tenths quicker. 6.8s is still okay, though.

you have to turn the esp off and put it in sports mode i get to 60 way faster then that and i have the 2.0 turbo.
