You should definatly buy a bike for its looks instead of how it rides. I own one and it is a very fun bike to ride

@zhusqvarna, lets say ur correct. But I still have to look at her. I wouldn't park that thing in my garage. It looks like low budget electric toy from a Si Fi movie. The seat is too long, with it looking like it's placed on backward. Has not a strong looking frame.. Just the wrong looking!

i have so a bike too

and it is really nice

but rather getting used to

but now i find it better than the TE 450

the only big shit on this bike is the rear fender and the front fender

American Magazines are saying the engine is too wide, add with the CTS. One can't slide it a slow speeds because it wants to stand up because of the CTS. They say its more of a play bike than the TE 450. BMW has killed my favorite motorcycle company. My thoughts " its just weird looking". Seat look like its on backward.

@shockadellick, sorry but i have to disagree. Sure there not the bikes they were in the 70's but they are a hell of a lot better than the Cagiva Husqvarnas. I ride with a guy who has one and honestly its a very efficient, plus the new motors are the lightest on the market. Just put it with the right rider and its a rocket!

American test are saying the 449 is a pig. American say 2009 Te 450 was much better. They also find it hard to look at.

sick looking bike...... how do europeans choose what to ride???? with gas gas, husky and ktm and beta, there are too many choices!!!!

i love my ktm and would have never ever dreamed of ever riding anything else but if bmw keeps improving the husky, i may have to give a go;

I got a te449 about a month ago and it is very confidence inspiring and great fun to ride.I just run 50 mm static sag and raised my fork tubes through the clamps a little.
