This is amazing, he was without an arm for 26 years, and he now has the ability to use 2 arms, sure its not as flexible or strong as his arm, but you know what? this just shows how advanced we are getting, soon we will be having people that were without legs running in competition! or people who are armless will be able to type up youtube.com :)
@RuslanLagashkin I don't think so, because in similar informational videos I've seen... The bionic arm is reading sensory input from the muscles of the arm and interpreting it into logical movements based on that input. You wouldn't have the same ability with other parts of your body. If you connected a third (bionic) arm with the sensors reading an existing biological arm, it seems to me that you'd have those 2 arms performing the same actions in tandem. Hope that explains it.
@AbominableHuman That reminds me an experiment when blind people learned to see with their tongue. The outputs of the cameras were connected to the tab with electrodes. Tab with electrodes was placed in the mouth. The amount of electrodes distinguished the resolution of such "retina". After two days the brain of blind people learned to transfer sensory information from tongue to the visual core of the brain. Also, people were able to detect objects and act with them properly.
@RuslanLagashkin If the plasticity of the brain allows it to garter sensory information from abnormal places, it may be possible to send operating information from abnormal place also. We can connect electric sensors and electrodes to few peripheral nerves (which, for example, normally, send signals to 1x1cm part of skin). The brain will learn to send necessary operating signals to that nerves after not long time. Such way is safer than implants directly in CNS and allows
use stronger & faster motors & larger capacity battery & you could do amazing things!

Is it possible to add the third module arm to the normal human? In some jobs it would be very useful.
