It's not unusual for a film to start out in limited release and then go national to international. The studios want to see how it's received so they don't waste money. The way it's been received so far should show that the film will do just fine at the box office...plus DVD sales will be through the roof just like they were on the first one.

with this limited release rubbish, most of the fans will not get to see this film.
