@HorrorAtic Not hard use your ears, brain and an EQ, a real EQ. There are secrets to get a good tone u just don't buy em in a box. But a good box probably has em in there if ya know what to look for and how to get it out!!
Was 6 yrs old when this track track was recorded, brings back memories of youth!!! I love mostly electronic music nowaday`s like underground Dubstep, techno,DNB,but it is always a breath of fresh air to hear great live old school very talented guitar players like this! The song and recording of this is simply beautiful!!!
Ohhhhhh man....I love how you can just tell it's Randy right from the first onslaught of that "off the rails" bend!!!! If I had to say one thing about Randy's legacy, it's wasn't just his flawless technique, but the way he made that guitar burn and sing with each crushing power chord....What a phenominal guitar legend!!!!
After Rhoads' death, Osbourne released Tribute, the only official album featuring Osbourne and Rhoads playing together in concert. Most of the album is a live performance from Cleveland, Ohio, recorded on May 11, 1981. Also used in the recording was Rhoads' guitar solo from a show in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, recorded on July 28, 1981. That whole show had been broadcast on WMMS, and the King Biscuit Flower Hour, from which it became an extremely popular and fast selling bootleg.
@guitarmessiah95 Yes he did but not because of any bad blood. He had decided that performing wasn't what he wanted to do and was planning to teach music instead. It's sad that he never got to live that out.
@guitarmessiah95 After reading Sarzo's book and understanding what life was like on the road chained to Ozzy and Sharon, it's no surprised he wanted out of that. I will admit however, that Ozzy gave Randy an amazing opportunity, and it's clear he made the absolute best of it - resuscitating Ozzy's career in the process.
@markcamp1 hola soy un fans español de randy rhoads.me gustaria tener un DVD de ozzy con randy por favor donde puedo encontrarlo es muy importante para mi.gracias.RANDY RHOADS forever
Check out the book "Off the Rails" by Rudy Sarzo!(the bass player at this time). Awesome story of his time with Ozzy and Randy from 81-82. Not just about RR the guitarist but about the man.
i wish i knew how Randy got that amazing and crazy

Jake Lee was better than Rhoads...whats all the fuss about? I realize Randy died young, but Jake had more talent than Rhoads...Lee was a monster.

Ozzy was a little squeaky on the high notes during this live performance...Randy was spot on as always...Rudy and Tommy were Rockin!
