saint or sinner???? what kind of question is that? All Believers of Christ are Sinners saved by grace> And in turn called into sanctification, making them all saints, some fall some persevere. So A saint is a sinner turned saint by faith. helloo!!1 read the bible
Whosoever is born of God does not commit sinhe cannot sin, because he is born of God.1Jn 3:9-10 Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 1Jn 3:4 The Law says: You shall not make unto yourself any graven image You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor worship them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous GodExo 10:4-5
Did she do that? Yes! By definition, she is a sinner, and therefore, not of God
She was beguiled; and exploited by the vatican. She was merely religious and an excellent piece of religious propaganda.
Pity Catholics and many Protestants don't read and believe scripture on what it is to be a Saint! If Popes are not saints, how can they decree a saint status?
readbaldyhead, you're right! ... the definition of the word which is translated "saint" is: 1) sacred, holy, Holy One, set apart. One who is free of defilement, of crimes, of idolatry, and of other unclean things. The Popes are all guilty of criminal activity, are full of all manner of uncleanness, and idolatry.
The modern day worship of saints is idolatry, which is commanded against by God, and used as a reference of being unclean!
Was she accepting these stolen funds for herself? Or for helping the poor? And had she known about the Duvalier's and Charles Keaton's crimes when accepting the money?
Also, how can you antgonize her for accepting donations from the Opus Dei? Are you trying to say that when he handed her the money he said "here, KGB money"? C'mon. It's the OPUS DEI. Obviously she'd take THEIR money!
If she was a Christian, she wouldve done the works of Christ & follow his steps. Did he ally himself with criminals who offered what amounts to bribes for absolution? Receive dirty money, look the other way &defend criminals? Allow his image to be exploited by criminals who defraud people? Opus Dei isnt an upright organization; you make it sound like even God should pay them esteem. There is no respect of persons with God!A gift blinds the eyes of the wise,&perverts the words of the righteous.
Yhoshua said of the religious elite of his time that they were like whitewashed tombs which look good on the outside, but are inside full of hypocrisy and iniquity. They make the outward appearance clean, but inside they are full of extortion and excess. You can tell a tree by its fruit. God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. The whole organization is full of dead men walking in darkness.
Christopher Hitchens saw this woman for what she was and has publicly castigated her. The poor she was supposedly helping saw only a tiny fraction of the millions she received from inter alia criminal and corrupt sources.
God didn't at any time "bless" MT! A Blessing is a favor or gift bestowed by God, thereby bringing happiness. She had none of those things. The definition of a Christian is one who does what Christ did or to follow in his steps. Did he love the Pharisees? (See Matt 23) Was he peaceful to the merchants in the temple when he overthrew their tables? The real blood suckers are in the Vatican! She's the real BITCH & you are obviously suckling on that whore's milk. Drink up & partake with her!!
Y'hoshua said, "Think not that I am come to bring peace upon earth, I came not to bring peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law." Matt 10:34-35 So you are wrong and have believed what you have been fed by false teachers. And watch your mouth (_0_)!
she was a gypsy and she was in no way an Albanian or Macedonian. The catholic church had its greedy reasons to raise a gypsy to a saint- great god in heaven
MT was not a friend of the poor. She was a friend of poverty. She said that suffering was a gift from God. The primitive hospice in Calcutta was as run down when she died as it always had been—she preferred California clinics when she got sick herself—and her order always refused to publish any audit. But we have her own claim that she opened 500 convents in more than a hundred countries, all bearing the name of her own order. Is this modesty and humility?
One thing I found very strange is that she would not accept help ie olunteers from India, but if a person were European or American she welcomed them.
I found this VERY strange. How do I know this? I have traveled and worked in India for over 20 years/30 trips. My friends there often talk of this when she was alive. It really bothered them that she felt they wen't good enough to help. They are well educated Indians.
Her organization was based on the Jesuit model, as well as the tenets of Opus Dei; corporal mortification & self denial is what gets you salvation. The cult of suffering is what some have described it as.
this is some random ranting about mother teresa. when mother teresa talks about darkness she means the sadness that she works around. she dedicated everyting to god and she saw god in these poor people. rather than making this video make a difference. and lets see if you can be as good as teresa de calcutta.
In her own words Teresa of Calcutta expressed that she felt no connection with God. "I want to love Him as He has not been loved-and yet there is that separation-that terrible emptiness, that feeling of absence of God." (M.T.) This is the darkness she speaks of in her letters which were published recently. The fact that she was disconnected from the Light of God is the darkness and the despair she lived in most of her life.
when someone works around the dead the dying and people strucken by abject poverty, there is no light/ happiness. when mother teresa wrote that letter she was depressed by her environment, eventhough her spirit was content her mind wasnt. this is a result of her environment, she could not help all she wanted and also she was also dying. Depression makes ous think out of bounds and mother teresa thought of a non existent god. i am not condemning her for her letter, nor am i refuting it.
If you haven't read her letters, you are in no position to make a determination what she was speaking of. They span a period of 50 years, so the darkness and depression was not due to her dying state. She was in complete darkness due to the fact that the whole organization is filled with darkness & darkness cannot have with light. If the blind lead the blind they will both fall into a ditch. This ditch is called the Catholic Church and all who follow them will end up in the pit of darkness.
A deluded psychopathic person, If she was called saint, that would be biggest insult to humanity..

There are some who would try to vilify Jesus himself. Videos like this are just nonsense.
I see no evidence that Mother Theresa lived any life of luxury or used money to live a better life.
I doubt if many would keep their faith when working daily with the dead and the dying.
