@Vildasnaga Yeah, this area clearly seems to be Carl Sagan's one big flaw. He was one of the great intellectual minds of the mid and late 20th century, an amazingly enlightened and forward thinking person. But the guy could also be a regular on Dr. Phil or any number of trash day time talk shows about cheating/unfaithful husbands and absent fathers. He'd get booed by a chorus of women for his boorish behavior. He had an amazing mind, but he seemed like a terrible husband and mediocre father.

We're programmed, it seems, to look for patterns, sequences, symmetry, etc. The greatest ones were 12:34:56 on 7/8/90 and 01:23:45 on 6/7/89. Carl, you are deeply and truly missed.
