What's the point? The passenger is in fact delaying the flight, what else could they say? Something like 'Dear passenger X, we love you so much but please please PLEEEEAAASEEEEE go to gate C9 cause otherwise the passengers on board will start a riot'?
I have been living in this country for about 4 yrs now and believe me Dutch people are very straightforward... this video is nothing compared to their bluntness...
Yeah , mind yours and dont mine. I'll mind my step. HA HA HA, what a joke those fucking anouncments. Shit!! What are we fucking blind. I guess it's there for liability in case if some moron
Yep Amsterdam Airport is used a lot by people from the US and since they try and sue you for any broken finger nail if you didnt warn them it is possible to break it they made these announcments so you cannot sue them :P
Just joking, in reallity I dont know why they say it, perhaps in the past to many people did fall and break something.
Love it! My friend and I were just talking about the odd announcement we heard at Sciphol :) And here it is on you tube! I guess we're not the only ones to find it odd
What is odd about it? THey just give a last call, the names of the passenger are also called out, so in your case it would be: Leeor25 You are delaying the flight, immediate boarding please at gate B12, we will proceed to offload you luggage.
As in you will have to report within 2 minutes at the gate or you wont be comming on the flight. They have to because it can casue masive delays if they lose their time slot for departure (that is how small a time window they have for leaving)
Never heard them do it as a standard in Frankfurt but I think the harsher they announce these things the better. Most of these people are milling casually around the duty free shops and think just because they have a boarding card the plane will wait for them.
Many thanks for uploading

is this iberia??
rickeng 2 years ago
If it is there is going to be no need to offload the luggage. They would have lost it anyway.
myrnaloysboy 2 years ago
@myrnaloysboy It is to be sure that they have not loaded bombs into thier bags than made a run for it.

@runway34r yes i know that der. my joke was about iberia.

They need to learn to speak English. OFFLOAD?? It's UNLOAD the luggage, but I guess my American english isn't their European "snobby" English.
alyr315 1 year ago
@alyr315 Offload is correct in the context, widely used in the UK too.....
