Actually, northern shaolin practitioners pronounce the word as "shifu" , whereas southern shaolin pronounce it as "sifu". Just a linguistic difference that's persisted in the transmission of the arts.

He wasn't trying very hard, if you guys noticed he was being slow so that you could see the steps of how it works, even when he actually took off he was keeping it at a short distance and taking it slow, staying within the camera's view and the small space he had to work with in the room. Sir, it is in your best interest to perfect a move before putting it on YouTube. I am 24 and I've been doing tae kwon do since I was 7, and kick boxing since I was 14. I think the only purpose of that combo would be to make your opponent back up. even if you connected with the crescent kick, that will barely do any damage, and you won't have enough distance to execute a butterfly kick. If someone did that to me, i would catch the crescent kick, or just side step.

SiFu, means teacher, hes most likely a teacher, and its a title, therefor he can present himseld as Si Fu, i know it to be Shr Fu, but thats the canadian version. Nothing wrong with what he said.

Its ok, Im a real Kung Fu Practitoiner, and saying "why dont you use a real sword" is pretty dumb, i mean, wushu blades where meant to cut the opponent even if you miss, slicing them up, and deadly if you know how to use them, saying that isnt a real weapon is like saying a Tai Chi battle sword isnt real either, that guy was just dumb.

It's a cool combo. Also you rarely see ath butterfly kick shown as an application. You can see this as the second kick chasing the guy down. I will however state the obvious that Traditional Kung Fu has no Butterfly Kick. He is mixing Traditional with Peoples Republic contemporary Wushu. I am sick of seeing Butterfly kicks done in "Traditional" froms. Wushu has its place; but it is not real "Kung Fu"

actually traditional shaolin kung fu does have the butterfly kick. it doesn't however have the butterfly twist.
