Mmmm... about the "HQ" note at the beginning. Does that mean your house, or is it supposed to say "GQ" as in "General Quarters" It sounds like "GQ" at the beginning of this.

That would be... well BAD. If you get caught (quite likely) you may have to pay a lot of money AND loose your equipment.
The question is: Why wouldn't you get a license? It's neither hard nor expensive (cheaper than the VX-7R), you (usually) get a good training, usefull contacts and help setting up your equipment. AND you don't have to worry about getting caught...
