@bajset666 Well, good job, 99% of what you said was correct, all though "What is FPI Scripts?" was the thing wrong, It goes: "What are FPI scripts" good job tho.
To start with the lights off, all you have to do is follow this, but set the light's main script to "lightoff.fpi". to make it flicker, make sure it's dynamic and set the script to light2.fpi

to have the lights off at level start:
1. Make the light dynamic.
2. Set is main as lightoff.fpi
3. Give it unique name.
4. Place switch entity to level.
5.Set the switch's "IfUsed" field the name u gave to the light.
6.Play the game
