  • I was so disappointed by the new film. It'll never live up to the old ones :P

  • TESTING!!!!!!

  • So I'm assuming this is the same Rich & Famous contract that appears in the new movie.

If I just need a contract for that then I'm gonna have to get me one of those contracts...

  • @togepifan Yup I was really glad the new movie made so many call backs to this original film. :)

  • 1:15

    Orson Welles?...in a Muppet Movie?........*claps*

  • Love it when all the Muppets fell silent when Orson Welles turned around.

  • yay for Orson!

  • @2:02; just watching them celebrate and Kermit look on stunned just makes me tear up.

  • @uofmrules1 Me 2

  • Why didn't they have the Swedish Chef on catering, if they had Crazy Harry playing with electricity?

  • 4:40

"Crazy Harry Play With ELECTRICITY!!!!!" HAHAHAHAHAH! LOL!

  • AHHHHH the end of this part makes me SOOO excited for the next part AHHH. =D

  • @MollyKoenigStarGleek GNARLY!!!!

  • "Crazy Harry plays with electricity...HA HA HA" :D

  • @orlandobabe and if he was asian?

  • P.S. thmbs up if you're watching this after watching The Muppets (2011)

  • wow orsen wells just has one line in the entire movie... amazing..

  • 0:25 i SWEAR one of them shouted "shit! shit!"

  • I LOVE ANIMAL'S EYEBROWS! AND I LOVE IT WHEN HE LAUGHS! "AHAHAH" ANIMAL 4EVER!

  • Miss. Piggie is weird

  • And it once again goes to show the journey's more important then the goal

  • Ahh the magic of cinema

  • Awesome Orson Welles cameo

  • Well of course he got a contract. If a talking frog, bear, pig, dog, and a lot of talking things cam into a big hollywood producer and asked for a contract you couldn't say no. Who cares if there bad actors, they can talk.

  • Animal shouted loud on a microphone.

  • COOLEST USE OF A CLASSIC ACTOR EVAH!!!!!

  • It's Orson Welles. Your argument over how easy it is to be rich and famous is inferior.

  • And last, but most CERTAINLY not least, the final celebrity cameo in our count, the great Orson Welles.

And that's... 18 celebrities that appeared in this movie, give-or-take. Muppets always seem to attract these kinds of people.

  • OMG! When Animal shifts and causes Floyd to become unbalanced. D-did I just hear Floyd say "Woah woah woah! Jesus!"?! O.o THUMBS UP! Muppets aren't just for kids. XD

  • Did beaker just yell "make up ready?"

  • I used to always laugh at Miss Piggy getting her hair brushed by Beaker. "OW! WwwwATCH IT!" Mainly because of the music in the background

  • @2:00-2:16 every time I see this moment, my heart fills up with joy for not only for the Muppets but for the cast and crew who put so much effort into making Mr. Henson's dream a reality. When I see Kermit looking in shock, I always think of that is how Mr. Henson reacted when his dreams came true. God bless you Mr. Henson and Mr. Hunt; you two are always with us and your friends who run the business and keeping the dream alive.

  • Anybody notice all the cameo's on this movie have ALL BEEN ON THE MUPPETS SHOW.lol.

  • @TheZincu Okay. After 10 parts, I THINK we got it now. On the other hand, your persistence in announcing this important information is admirable.

  • @comicbookgirl17 lol.why thank you.

  • @TheZincu Actually not all of them have been. One or two of the people in this movie were not on The Muppet Show. I have a book that shows every guest star on The Muppet Show and a couple of people from the movie were not on the show. Orson Welles was not, for instance.

  • @MissMom4evr Uh actually I believe Orson Welles was on The Muppet Show at one point.

There was a sketch where Kermit and Orson were on stage, and Orson was trying to understand the basics of muppetry and Kermit explained to him that anyone could be a muppet and that Orson would himself be a muppet in the very next sketch, "I a muppet?!?" he exclaimed and sure enough in the next sketch which takes place in Dr Bunsen Honeydew's lab he's supposed to be a robot that ends up wrecking the Dr's lab.

  • @cha5 No, that was Peter Ustinov. Episode 1x12 - Not Welles at all.

  • @mimkyodar Really? Well thanks for the information, did he have a beard in this episode? I always thought it was Welles but I was a kid when I saw it so...

  • @mimkyodar Never mind that question, I was able to find that episode on YouTube thanks to your information, I really appreciate it, I haven't seen that episode since I was a kid.

  • @MissMom4evr Orson's basically just wearing a tuxedo or a suit and he's standing rigid and Dr Honeydew comes in and explains that he's created a remote control robot that will obey his every command. Orson starts walking around rigidly and talking in a halting robotic manner and then goes out of control and wrecks the Dr's laboratory. I've been hunting for that particular clip that I saw on TV but no luck yet.

  • @cha5 I did some checking on imdb and it says that Orson Welles had a TV special in 1979 called The Orson Welles Show. This would have been the same year The Muppet Movie was released and some of the Muppets did guest star in the special. The Muppet Show was not listed as one of Orson Welles' credits. Could this tv special be what you're thinking of?

  • @MissMom4evr Well maybe so, I just remember seeing this bit with Orson Welles and Kermit and Dr Bunsen Honeydew around the same time in my life I was really into The Muppet Show as a kid, it started out the doctor's usual introduction in his lab that you always saw on The Muppet Show "Hi ho, Dr Bunsen Honeydew here, today we are going to demonstrate etc" I don't think Beaker was in this sketch, I suppose it's possible this was taken directly from The Orson Welles Show,

  • @MissMom4evr Or maybe the Doctor didn't say "Hi ho" that was always Kermit's Sesame Street opening line, but he did start out with "Dr Bunsen Honeydew here, today etc"

Anyways maybe this was taken from The Orson Welles Show, it's just the staging and the set up of this sketch right down to the lab even, seemed like it was shot exactly like what you'd see on an episode of The Muppet Show, but maybe that's not the case.

  • "The Magic Store" is a great song.

  • thumbs up if you agree, if Kermit was real you would vote him for primeinister!

  • Orson motherfucking Welles!

  • LOL TESTING lol

  • So nostalgic I just want to cry tears of joy! -3

  • 4:34 I rolled!

  • lmfao I love when Animal shouts TESTING and Bunsen has no eyes at 4:43.

  • HÉy_í_feél_sÔ_lònëlÿ_t0DÂÿ

  • Bahaha the standard rich and famous contract! I love it.

  • "Prepare the standard Rich & Famous contract for Kermit the Frog & Company... Do you really mean that? A frog, a pig, a bear, and a bunch of other things just walk into my office and demand to be rich and famous? That doesn't make any sense. He doesn't even give me an audition or anything. Get me a jury to show me a 'standard rich & famous contract', and I'll go down on you." -_-

  • @Bobzeaux But isn't that the fun of it?

  • @akeel456

I can't emphasize 'the' before 'frog', it's like emphasizing 'in' before 'july'. Come on, fellas! You're losing your heads!

  • @Bobzeaux We could quote every single line of that recording, but lets appreciate ourselves with a simple: <3

  • @Bobzeaux He's Citizen Kane, he's got enough money to go around for any random person who decides to barge into his office.

  • @Bobzeaux its a very simple concept- its a MOVIE!

  • @beasst94

And it was just a pea commercial, but that didn't stop Welles from giving us THIS classic piece of dialogue. *lol*

    watch?v=V14PfDDwxlE

  • @Bobzeaux did you forget that they are TALKING group of a frog, a pig, a bear, and a bunch of other thing?

  • @Bobzeaux They came half-way across the country and THEY'RE THE MUPPETS.

  • mwwwaaghhaaa the French!!

  • haha Rowf the dog is allergic to cats

  • haha Rowl the dog is allergic to cats

  • As a Kid it gave you encouragement that what you dare your dreams can come true if you put your heart into it....I even had the casette to this movie til it wore out.

  • "TESTING!"

  • GASSSSKAAAA!! ha ha ha ha!! xD

  • he lets them in without audition?

  • I just love the song, 'The Magic Store'...

  • Comment removed

  • lol 4:40 "TEESSTIINNG!"

  • Orson Welles best film work. (Unless you count those stinkers, "Citizen Kane" and "The Magnificent Ambersons.")

  • "Miss Piggy you look beautiful!" "Thank you" ("Hollywood talk"):D:D:D

  • @Studmeister17 So,it seems tricky. I got The Muppet Movie on DVD for Christmas from Santa.

  • Th..that's it? All you had to do was ASK to be rich and famous? Alright! Hollywood here I come!! *packs up* Gonna be rich and famous!! *heads off* XD

Wow that was fast that Animal got back to normal, and I love Beaker! He's so cute, he looks like a carrot! >w<

  • when i was little, i scremed in my dad's ear that word animal has said. only i said kaska insteat of testing.

  • @carloota2 it almost sounds like he shouts, "thirsty"

  • teeestiiiiiiiiing. that was funny.

  • Orson Welles, and muppets. Does it get any better than that?

  • I'm NOT allergic to animals, but I'm actually afraid of them such as dogs, bees, mice and rats. I love cats, rabbits, hummingbirds and fish. I have seasonal allergies.

  • The Muppets peed a little when Lew Lord's Secretary sneezed out loud.

  • Where's Sweetums?

  • @Galutron Behind the screen.

  • @Galutron U'll C him. He comes out toward the end of the movie. He's seen by coming out of the screen.

  • WOW. Didn't know it was THAT easy to be rich and famous. All I gotta do is ask and I'll get a contract just like THAT? I'M OFF TO HOLLYWOOD!

  • Who better than to get than to get the Muppets into Hollywood than Orson Welles.

  • whaddaya know, it's Orson Welles :)

  • Poor Prof Honeymoon

    I love Crazy Harry

  • @CanadianWarMachine I believe it's Dr. Bunsen Honeydew.... Prof. Honeymoon experiments in chemistry of an entirely different nature :)

  • @afriendofbean I don't think he was supposed to be sad. Just humbled.

  • That's a good point. I guess maybe he was crying out of happiness. (I probably felt a little sad thinking he was sad since he was not jumping with joy like all his friends).

  • I was a little confused but, why was Kermit so sad from 2:01-2:16 since Mr. Lord was making them rich and famous?

  • At 1:16, I thought it would have been best if the studio boss was Bernie the agent since Bernie was from Hollywood, and it felt like he was the one who put the ad in the newspaper for the audition for frogs. Plus, before he was chased away by Barney the alligator, he gave Kermit his business card like he was saying "if you change your mind about this audition, give me a call." If it was Bernie, Bernie would have shown more happiness giving Kermit the job for the show without the audition).

  • Has anyone ever thought about the irony of Orson Welles playing a studio boss, since he essentially had his directorial career sabotaged by them?

  • "Allergies are nothing to sneeze at." "I'm allergic to cats myself."

I love their casual conversation as she's suffocating, it's comic genius.

  • The very intimidating Orsen Wells

They saved the best, for last

  • TESTIIIIIIIING!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

  • "TEEEESTING!!!!"

  • The standard "Rich and Famous" contract.

  • @GoldsboroughStudios

Warning: DO NOT under ANY circumstances sign one with Fox Broadcasting/News Corp. You WILL be betrayed.

  • "prepare the standard rich & famous contract for kermit the frog & company."

my favorite cameo in a muppet movie, even if it is just one line.

  • Did Floyd said "Hey whoa Ah Jesus stop cut!"?

  • @timtru01 He said "Hey whoa cease, stop..."

  • Ha ha! Her respiratory system is shutting down!

  • Better than The Last Airbender

  • @tomasahernandez2009 Sorry to hear that re: Cloris Leachman's character who serves as a secretary for Lew Lord (Orson Welles' character). She really is allergic to animal hair. Is it the same as animal dander?

  • Cloris Leachman plays Lew Lord's secretary. She has allergies to animal dander.

  • I always used to lolz at Piggy going "OW! WATCH IT!" with that music playing in the background

  • The muppets are inspirational lol

  • @tomasahernandez2009 choking is never right ... but sometimes neccesary

  • Orson actually gives Kermit and the gang a little grin at the end of his line; I can't believe I never noticed that before.

  • @oscarphile Haha. As much of a smile as Mr. Welles could muster.

  • I really wasn't expecting to see Orson Welles in this until that moment :)

  • ORSON WELLES!

  • @obiwanobiwan13 Is he the same guy who narrated War Of The Worlds by: H.G. Wells?

  • @mermaidamp Yes, Orson Welles directed and starred in the October 31, 1938 radio broadcast of the War of the Worlds.

  • @paisleystreet That story was written by H.G. Wells, wasn't it?

  • @obiwanobiwan13
