I love this story, but I'd be careful about having the little Beatles clip in there...those 3 seconds must be enough to cost a thousand British Pounds...which is why the 20 second clip was removed from the DVD releases outside the UK...(thank goodness for Region-Free coding on DVD players!)

i have heard that the full story is 10/10 in doctor who reviews - i wouldnt bother to watch it until the picture is tidied up , and every scene was complete - even with 2d graphics like in the invasion - or they could go a little further with animating it like dreamland - that would be amazing!!!

You know elvisonvelvet, last year was a terrible year for Doctor Who fans with only intermitent specials that weren't always that special. Little bits of hopeful things like fanmades and rumours and stories were all to keep us going - I'm still holding onto the one about animating the final part of The Tenth Planet (although it's probably not true) :-).

After the Space Museum and the Chase there's only four possible Hartnell stories that can be released on DVD without restoring lost episodes.

In the new Doctor Who first Freema,then the new girl companion Karen have played other parts in Dr Who before becoming a companion

I enjoy the Chase, and you've made a fantastic trailer! The Chase always needed a bit of pacing and pizazz to fit its 60s pop-art aesthetic, and you've given it just that! Glad you've included the Beatles bit, as this story is the ultimate expression of the Daleks as part of pop-culture!
