  • Ha ha this was one of my favorites. Haven't heard it in some time. Thanks

  • Yeah!!!!!!!!!

  • This is such an AWESOME dual guitar tune...the solo hand-off from Lonnie to Stevie & the change and contrast of TONES still gives me a big SHIVER down my back!

ONE PERSON musta thought the button said "Dis-I-Like".

    Thanks for this gem 1976susie!

    rip Stevie Ray.

  • . Lonnie Mack is a great blues singer too besides being a very tasteful and original player. He kind of bridged the gap between 50 s rockabilly and the hard edged blues guitarists that would follow in the 60's .He was a white guy playing 'heavy' blues guitar in 1962 /63 .That trend kind of caught on ..

  • this is great palying miss u Stevie

  • SRV and The Mack....sweet...

  • Webster's dictionary needs to add LONNIE MACK, SRV, & LESLIE WEST to their definition of the word "TONE"!!!

  • @lauratwo16 Absolutely man ! Recently bought a Les Paul Jr which I have wanted for yrs because of that Leslie west tone . I love it too .Also , I have read that flying V that Mack plays is like 1957 serial number '7' and he bought it new . I've seen and heard him live and it has a killer woody sound that is very unique

  • @RisingSon011 I can almost hear the cow bell clang'n followed by you tear'n into that epic guitar intro of "Mississippi Queen"......"If ya know what I mean".................

  • You must of been born around the same year as SRV. Cause I think he was about your 12 too when he first heard Lonnie Mack. The seeds for SRV career were planted by Lonnie Mack's Wham Album

  • Actually I am only 35 now.I saw Lonnie first at a festival here in Indiana around 85 or 86.He was already an old veteran by that time ,so I imagine Stevie was digging him in the 60s or 70s.You can hear alot of Lonnie in SRVs playing.
