Once, while on walkies in the wild, I was attacked by a man-eating broccoli. In imminent danger of being consumed, I used my MacGyver-ish senses and with items ready at hand I was able to sedate and subdue her with a nice dinner of medallions of beef with apricot glaze, haricots verts, garlic mashed potatoes with parsley garnish, a little vintage Pinot Noir and some witless banter.
