saw this band then the ZENITH 7 at Newcastle City Hall playing the first set before the Chris Barber Band around about 1956, great memories thanks for posting same.
This sound was playing at the 1st place I walked my wife home from. The year was 1958, the club was the Junction Jazz Club, the club was in a hall at the back of St Johns Church, Harrow Rd London W10. We eventually married at the church & I am pleased to say still here , together.
