  • very beautifully done

  • Thank you.

  • The Tibetans monasteries were very oppressive to the peasants, the Brahmins treated the untouchables horribly, Chogyam drank, Gangaji'a husband fooled around, Osho went nuts.

We must be careful, though, to separate the teacher from the teachings, and wisdom from its cultural trappings. No "person" is perfect and most cultures are corrupt in some way. This does not invalidate Truth.

  • There is sunshine coming in through my window this morning. I certainly take more away from the sunshine than comments that are not of love or understanding. Relaxing video Red, thank you.

  • Trungpa died a chronic alcoholic of cirrhosis of the liver. His followers enabled this bringing him a bottle of vodka for breakfast. He fucked all his students..male and female.

  • My friend, I was watching your film and letting my nervous system go into a blank state and my eyes defocused around the "two aspects" point and you split into two and the waves could be seen through you...........

  • excellent short, thanks... words of wisdom... music is by Caribou - The Barn...

  • you could say that about most anything verbally expressed, depending on your point of view, and experience/perception of the topic. people thought Timothy Leary was crazy.......

  • I agree with you on the first ideas of your message. Hopefully we can agree that Leary was worse than crazy because sometimes crazy people like Van Gough produce something. Leary only tried to escape from himself, and succeeded.

  • "I am surprised and disappointed that these videos say next to nothing of interest. " Precisely, as interest itself is not prerequisite for understanding reality. Sometimes comprehension of an eventuality emerges whether there is interest or not.

  • Yes, In Christianity this is refered to as the St. Paul experience or the Damascus experience.

Generally, people who have no interest in a thing, develop no understanding in a thing.

  • I continue to be interested in many thigs, despite the fact that I do meditation, after all, meditation is not about things, but that whcihc observes them (i.e. the subject or object that cannot be objectified or subjectified).

Despite of this I do many different developmental and recreational practices.

  • And where are your wise videos you miserable old fuck?!?! He doesn't make these videos to promote his ego, he's trying to help enlighten others. Do you know why so many people are mean to you? It's because you have a chip on your shoulder which you carry into every human experience. You are hateful and thus reap your sewage. Go jerk off into another sock and try not to have a stroke when you climax asshole.

  • is there a binural beat behind this?

  • doubt it. Check out Karen Armstrong, she covers it

  • I loved taking that journey with you. Beautiful.

  • Meditation cannot be taught. It can be learned from... That.

  • Man... I must say. I must have watched this video 100 times over. I have also kept this video in mind for 2 years. Very good insperational video. I love to watcht this before I meditate. A very well knowlaged vid that is relaxing. Out of all the other videos. This video has helped me understand meditation the most. The music is very unique. Its also from this video I discovered alan watts who is remarkable in his work. Thanks!

  • Very nice work :) i would like to know who´s the voice and the music name, please ...

  • see description

  • Chewed some salvia a few hours ago (a little bit of it changes perspective and makes the ordinary, special) - watching this at this time was a little sublime. -Thanks

    Love Alan Watts.

  • illuminATING: BRILLIANT: MOREMORE.

  • By the way, what was the soundtrack?

  • music was by Caribou. I don't know the name of the track.

  • I liked that Alan Watts clip a lot.. he put it much differently than most of his other stuff I've heard...but it was nice. good vid.

  • 5 Stars.

    Just perfect.

  • "meditation cannot be taught": this is a teaching in itself so there is a subtle contradiction.

  • I wish I had a landscape like that for the back drop of my meditations. Exquisite. I just have Texas thunderstorms.

  • This looks like Bodega Bay.

Very good vid. I need to incorporate longer periods of meditation (more than 1 minute at a time) back into my daily life. It is a discipline that is to be adored.

  • This was a beautiful video.

  • wow is that you on the shore?
