Conosco molto bene questa canzone (a memoria), incluso il significato. Posso solo dire che secondo me il video non rende abbastanza giustizia alla bellissima melodia e al significato di questo memorabile pezzo.

si, è proprio questo il problema.

Youtube non è il mercato, non remunera musicisti e non ha voce in radio, alla tv.

E' una condivisione che va oltre il copyright, che poi è quello che permetteva al sig. Knopfler di continuare a lavorare su certi livelli.

Apprezzo la community, ma non possiamo negare che un certo tipo di "condivisione" impedisce la tutela del diritto d'autore e ha come conseguenza la difficolta' estrema del musicista a costruirsi un futuro, anche di piccoll rilievo.

Dire Straits é a melhor banda que já ouvi, suas composições são riquíssimas em arranjos e detalhes posso dizer sem dúvida elas tem alma, e essa Tunnel of Love é a música do Dire Straits que mais gosto, ela fez parte da minha infância e ainda a escuto até hoje sua letra tem uma história incrível e o solo de guitarra do Mark Knopfler é digno de um verdadeiro gênio da guitarra, então parabéns ao Dire Straits!

I think this is one of the greatest songs ever created. It has left a lasting impression in my life. I first heard it when I was only 7 and the ending solo still uplifts me. I have listened to alot of music over the years from mainstream pop to black metal and no song can compare to this :)

Just for the guitar tragics - he actually uses a pick for this whole song live except for the solo in the middle and the end. Search for the the live version in Sydney or others - but the Sydney one is one of the best in my opinion. Does anyone out there know why his brother left the band?
