  • what mics are being used for this?

  • I am thinking it is what I will hear when entering the "pearly Gates"

  • hard to believe that's only eight people...

  • The Hartley Canzona is published by Ensemble Publications. Catalog number ENS800 (old ENS050). Available online at any good print music store.

  • Very nice. Reminds me of Sir William Walton.

  • muito bom...

  • 整い過ぎ!!

    美しすぎ!!

  • OWNED!

  • where can i get this music!? splendid performance!

  • wow... Beautiful chords.... Goosebumps,,,, This makes me so anxious to get into college!!!!

  • Simply Majestic. I was blown away by this Canzona, marvelous!

  • This is absolutely ridiculous...

  • I go to UNC Charlotte and get to spend a lot of time with Dr. Hartley, he comes to our rehersals almost every week. He is such a brilliant composer.

  • @kriegkatse Do you study with Mike Kris? I am hoping to eventually get to UNC and finish out my degree.

  • Good Lord! what a full and rich trombone choir sound. (the way it's supposed to be of course)

So in tune and in balance, the sustained chords are filling my speakers to the brim

  • that was a great chord to end with. great overall sound, guys.

  • @dale1966gto A major chord is a pretty good chord to end with, yes.

  • @Hettbone1 a major chord is pleasent to hear yes, but they are rare in hartley's music, he's a patron of my school, ive played a lot of his music, he's vary talented, but this piece is rare among his music in terms on consonance

  • @kriegkatse The message was directed @dale1966gto because it seems like it's a very common chord to end with. I am in no way criticizing the composition. This is a very fine piece and great ensemble but to say that the last chord was a particularly awesome chord to end with, seemed like an uneducated analyzation of the piece.

  • When will the CD be available?!

  • You are completely right about what you said.

  • But your pants arent falling off your rear ends and you arent wearing a hat sideways, plus you arent strutting around the stage TALKING about bitches and hos and killin cops...so how can you guys really qualify as "artists"...but really as an old washed up lead trombone player from the late 70's and early 80's...I can only say WOW

  • You said it all. People have forgotten what music really is.

  • @KLOKFXR I like your comment and those dudes are just plain STOOPID. I bet you're not washed up or ready to be put out to dry ;-)

  • This is some very spectacular playing and very inspiring to hear for sure. Now that's a trombone choir!

  • wow that is a great trombone sound very tight awesome

  • Sounds great boys! Nice collection of Shires trombones too! See ya soon.
