hate to break it to you but the dude is kinda right...Henry Ford the 2nd ordered Ford of UK to beat Ferrari and they built the GT 40, based loosely on the Lola Mk. 6, which is BRITISH. They were however powered by ford....(289ci in the '65 Mk. I, 427ci in the Mk. II & IV, and upgraded 289 based 302's in the essentially obsolete but super reliable Mk 1 that won in '68 and '69.

The company had something to do with manufacturing and building spec GT40 replica's I believe in the 80's. However I must add with all Ford products. This however has nothing to do with the current GT, and development was assisted by Saleen... ALL USA buddy! Ford GT is all American.

yes they can...Corvette Racing has taken plenty of curves in ALMS GT1 so many times that it left because there was NO COMPETITION left. IT FLAT OUT DOMINATED THE DBR9....theyve since left to ALMS GT2 and are still competing well against 911 RSR's and F430's. the Ford GT GT3 won the FIA GT3 last year, fell this year to the Audi R8 GT3 however. that "american cars cant handle" really doent apply anymore, at least not in racing because everything is modified anyway

It usually applies to a car in a completely different series then you, or if you're being lapped.. but in 30-hour long races very rarely will u see someone let another car by, especially when there in the same class Clearly this is not a time when u let the "faster" car pass you.

Actually Felipesoto2010 is right here, if you're in a slower car you do have to let the faster car by.

Say for example you're in a Honda Civic or something, and there's a Ferrari Maranello behind you trying to get by, you have to let that Ferrari by, trying to block will only cause an accident.

Now if it was you in a Maranello, and another one trying to pass you, in a race situation you wouldn't let them pass easily, but again you shouldn't block if they're carrying a lot more speed then you.

well, It was obviously an accident, the ford went wide, the porsche is a 4wd car, he went inside, slide out a little bit, the ford would have been fine if the road was wider, but it slid onto the grass, over corrected and from there was out of control, the porsche was just in the wrong place at the wrong time!

Team Matech GT Racing and their Ford GT GT3 won the manufacturers cup while the C6 Z06 GT3 won the drivers championship
