There is no person, concept, institution, tradition, or inanimate object, which favors the survival of western civilization, over which Liberals are NOT terrified.
I'm a liberal, and I'm a big fan of Western Civ, actually. I teach it and write on it for a living. But would you care to define Western Civilization and defend your claims? I doubt they'd stand up to scrutiny.
I can tell you that I am frightened at the prospect of a creationist, Buchanan-supporting, right-wing radical w/no experience beyond 1 year as governor of the 48th-most populous state in the nation a heartbeat away from the presidency.

Regarding your request, I prefer the English definition of words rather than making up my own, unlike Liberal nincompoops.
Regarding your stated fear, it bolsters my point. Beyond that, your claim of favoring Western civilization is at odds with your theology (Liberalism), which sees the human species as the problem, and government as the solution, e.g., "overpopulation", a favorite of regressive "Progressives".

Actually, what Western Civ is and what it _means_ needs actual discussion, though I'm not sure you're prepared to have one. Does it include Homer and the Bible? Most would say yes. But what do we then make of the profound differences between Homer's warrior culture (see Achilles dragging Hector in the dust) and Jesus' Sermon on the Mount?
As for your rather strange claims about liberals, I celebrate human life and wish to protect it against wanton warmaking and other threats.
Excuse me, but you brought "Western Civilization" into the discussion and have revealed yourself to be thoroughly unable to discuss it intelligently. This suggests to me that you are also not a useful dialogue partner for a real discussion on abortion, which most thoughtful people agonize over instead of throwing rhetorical vomit that they mistake as thunderbolts. In short, you're a know-nothing and proud of it. I won't waste anymore effort trying to engage with you.
Not only did I mention Western civilization, I provided examples of how Liberalism aggressively works to kill it.
Contrarily, you offer nothing whatsoever but your baseless complaints, while attempting to hide from the disease of modern Liberalism under you Homer & Hector sophistry.
Liberals "agonize" whenever murderous rapists and Islamist fascists are at risk, not when your "life partner" of 7 weeks throws a temper tantrum and "chooses" to torture her baby to death at an abortion mill.
What do you mean by "traditional western"? Within, say, the tradition of texts and ideas defined first by the Greeks? And/or do you mean what gets sloppily called "the Judeo-Christian tradition"? If the psu in your name refers to a university, I hope for its sake if not for your own that you're actually willing to defend what you say.
TBH it was over a year since your last comment so I did not expect a reply. The whining comment was not to troll though it might seem that way, just that I sick of people reiterating talking points and propaganda points that are smart enough to know better.
Traditional Western as I used it in that post was refering to the traditional ideologies of the British and Irish people from between 1700-1950, though Pat is obviously not a protestant supremacist. Judeo-Christian philosophy is a part.
Well it just points out that she used to be a "brigader" for Pat Buchanan. Buchanan is well-known for his racial and anti-semite comments about minorities and jews. She was his campaign director in 1996 for president and supported him for president in 2000. McCain just lost the Jewish Vote in Florida when they find out about this.
How in the hell could any reasonably intelligent person vote for McCain and Palin?
McCain and Palin will not have any new issues to create change. They will be exactly the same as Bush and Cheney.
Why won't Sarah Palin talk to the press? Is it because she is scared to tell everyone her far right wing conservative views on the issues?
VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA AND LETS GET A DEMOCRAT WIN IN NOVEMBER!

How are the feminists going to explain their resistance to promoting a women to the second highest office in the land?
By smear, inneuendo and lies. That's how.

Another of my observations for you to ignore by posting irrelevancies, and reciting your denials:
Torturing the human fetus to death is the holy sacrament of Liberalism. That doesn't "celebrate human life and wish to protect it".

Many of these christians are only worried with defending one part of western civ..christianity. They really don't give a shit about the rest of it.

stop whining. Pat Buchanan's philosophy is pretty much traditional western.
